Excellent, keep me going till I buy the US one smile.gif

scully1888 (06/20/2007 01:28PM)

This isn't working for me, I'm getting an error message regarding the Data as soon as I touch the screen at the Title Screen.

Vundu (06/20/2007 01:30PM)

It uses a 2MB save file. A new Kernal for the R4 has been released (1.10) to fix it.

scully1888 (06/20/2007 01:30PM)

What about the DS-Xtreme?

Keizo (06/20/2007 01:34PM)

I soooo wanna play this, but I can't afford it. Then there's getting it to work on a DS emulator...

zecki (06/20/2007 01:41PM)

settings for supercard sd ?

Vundu (06/20/2007 01:42PM)

I think the R4 is the only one its working on at the mo. No doubt fixes will appear for the rest soon.

serhat (06/20/2007 02:02PM)

I like to game.Game is good.

Keruberosu (06/20/2007 03:46PM)

this game works perfectly with a Supercard DS One, if you choose 2M for the savefile....anyway, i don't clearly understand what i must do to access the cave next to the elder's house ? As far as i understood, i need to old a specialitem, but which one ?

tenjakid (06/20/2007 04:03PM)

Dslinker works too and btw im stuck at the same place LMAO

xlooserx (06/20/2007 04:10PM)

when i patch the game it does'nt work! how did you guys have patched it? i dont' understand you choose 2M for the save file?! can you explain please?

shadowmaster (06/20/2007 04:23PM)

Wow, I'm getting it right away!! (for DS-X)
I wonder if it's gonna work, it probably will.

tenjakid (06/20/2007 04:28PM)

Some flashcard already have 2mb save intergrated like DSlinker which work right away like any other game

Bianc0neri (06/20/2007 04:35PM)

It works on M3 I think.

amirbaik4now (06/20/2007 04:37PM)

if u all want test this game go download at [LINK REMOVED] its free no need to have points.but keep it cool dgemu!!

zendatboiz (06/20/2007 04:52PM)

NORIHIRO (06/20/2007 05:23PM)

mattemasita!!(Japanese)

xlooserx (06/20/2007 05:24PM)

i still don't know how to put the save file in 2M with the supercard ds one, both friwarme and software have been upgraded today, i guess it would work with it!
can't wait arrg!

Vegetarian (06/20/2007 05:38PM)

Roflcopter.....

Vegetarian (06/20/2007 05:38PM)

This game is slightly disappointing.....

:*(

BlackHeart1607 (06/20/2007 06:19PM)

I'm stuck in the game >_> I don't know what to do after I talked with the old man! It seems I have to go to the cave and If I'm inside there's this door and I don't know how to open it. >_>

mrianou (06/20/2007 06:19PM)

pour les impatient ( désolé pour mon anglais, je suis francais)
pour la m3 ds simply
télécharger le firmware R4 1.10 et http://neosource.1emu.net/patch03.rar
cela transforme votre M3 en R4 donc zelda marche

for the impatient one (sorry for my English, I am French) for m3 ds simply to download the firmware R4 1.10 and http://neosource.1emu.net/patch03.rar that thus transforms your m3 into R4 and "zelda" run

Auyx (06/20/2007 06:21PM)

I can report that this does not work for DS-X at all.

Vegetarian (06/20/2007 06:29PM)

Works fine for me on Supercard CF.....

shinji257 (06/20/2007 06:30PM)

Ahh... someone hacked the R4 firmware again to run on M3....

Auyx (06/20/2007 06:34PM)

Also there is a fix for slot 2 supercards on ds scene. Just us lonely DS-X owners left out in the cold. sad.gif

Vegetarian (06/20/2007 06:38PM)

Is the DS-X any good?
My Supercard's starting to die and I wanna get a new cart.....

shadowmaster (06/20/2007 07:08PM)

DS-X is good, I can tell as a user, but R4 is also a very good thing to buy. For example (<--French voice for the beggining of this sentence), the DS-X is the whole thing. Yet the "whole thing" might get corrupt or anything. The R4, on the other hand, can use multipile cards for playing. And also, even though I'm pretty sure they'll fix it, this game does not work.
OOUUENNDANN!!!

Auyx (06/20/2007 07:21PM)

Its good but there support is the worst. upates come once in a blue moon and when they do there normany to fix what they screwed up in the last update.

Request can anyone with a DS-X who wants to play this game go to :

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=53467. Ta

kishxcx (06/20/2007 07:22PM)

NeoOoeN (06/20/2007 07:44PM)

The game works perfectly with Supercard SD.

Just here: http://rapidshare.com/files/38324528/ipt-l...upercard_sd.rar

ThugStyle (06/20/2007 07:53PM)

Lol the muppet saying the game is slightly dissapoitning is a wanker its been out a few hours and your playing it in JAP you moron.

xXSasukeXx (06/20/2007 08:14PM)

http://www.r4ds.com/soft/16-en.htm new firmwire for R4 and M3 simply it should work now

lover20x (06/20/2007 09:03PM)

thanks for nice gameeee

minimo (06/20/2007 09:24PM)

you should get this game even if it is out of curiosity MINT!!!!

anyone having problems getting the sword out of the cave next to the house you need to write a number 7 on the board next to the door, not looking too good for later puzzles though where you may need japanese language knowledge!!!

xlooserx (06/20/2007 09:28PM)

Thanx a lot neoOoen! it works perfectly! the patch i've done by myself never worked!
vegetarian -> a great nickname!

dfish74 (06/20/2007 09:52PM)

What's the date for the US release?

Tuddy666 (06/20/2007 09:55PM)

Look, I don't care that it's Japanese, I'm downloading it for one reason-
It's a zelda game!

bladex (06/20/2007 09:59PM)

sob need englsh version!!

Vegetarian (06/20/2007 10:04PM)

I find it funny how that ****head up there automatically assumes that I don't know what I'm talking about.....

It's disappointing to me in terms of gameplay/control.....

Next time take a second to think before you open your mouth.....

minimo (06/20/2007 10:15PM)

i agree with Tuddy japanese who cares zelda WOOOOOOOOO!!!!

as my last post anyone stuck in the basement on the second island only got a picture in the corner to go on but not a clue what to do???

Judebox (06/20/2007 10:46PM)

Hi !
Someone can makes it work on a M3 Lite ?
Thanks !

el_destructo (06/20/2007 11:02PM)

This is what the DS is about.

sora000111 (06/20/2007 11:25PM)

oh god i am a total failure ,i'm stuck on the first island , i dont know where to get my sword from or anything , i manage to kill th slime monsters with rocks but now , i dunno where to go sad.gif , anyone have any advice for me?

sora000111 (06/20/2007 11:26PM)

umm never mind heheh i got my sword, i was randomly making squiggles on the sign and it opened.

DragonFIRE (06/20/2007 11:42PM)

snap....guess i'll ither have to try this like "Demo that I can't read" or just have patience for the (E) or (U) ver to come out, till then it's sim city baby

simonwong1989 (06/21/2007 12:16AM)

The sword is next to the old mans house. In there, on that wooden board, write the number 7. And then opens the door to get the sword.!!
I'm just pass that and stuck smile.gif. Another puzzle.. pulling levers

magusonline (06/21/2007 12:17AM)

Wow it came out earlier than expected, or perhaps leaked.

NeoOoeN (06/21/2007 01:11AM)

Yes it's works for M3 simply, like othes already said, just replace this : http://www.zshare.net/download/23541000a9466b/ -DS_Menu.dat on your M3.

Judebox (06/21/2007 01:17AM)

Yeah I know it's ok for the M3 Simply. But what the way for the M3 Lite (It is a slot-2 linker)
Thx !

mariko77 (06/21/2007 01:43AM)

is good!!!!!

magnom (06/21/2007 01:46AM)

waoooo
this is good game. I recommend it to everyone!

jz999 (06/21/2007 01:49AM)

i just got my r4, i hope it has the new kernal already there, cuz im not in the mood to deal with this.

spiritofcat (06/21/2007 01:52AM)

Does it work on EZ-Flash III? I doubt it does. I still need to finish The Wind Waker anyway.

ThugStyle (06/21/2007 03:17AM)

M3 simply users just patch the R4 fw or use the file NeoOoeN has posted it works fine.
Great game, it makes me laugh how people are dissin the play style after a few hours of it being out.
If you saw a game like this on PSX/N64 all those years ago you'd be amazed and to see it now on such a small machine is excellent, puts 90% of other DS games to shame and shows what this great handheld can output with the right people at the helm.
RE Vegetarian, I don't really need to say anything else to make you look like the muppet you obviously are, done a good enough job of that yourself!

FullMetalNaruto (06/21/2007 03:32AM)

Finally! If only it came out in us.......and its be cool if it had the newest 1 graphics that be the best but still its cool

bmoles (06/21/2007 03:39AM)

I have a Supercard CF....can anybody help me to get it working? If it's even possible too. Thanks

ThugStyle (06/21/2007 04:00AM)

Have you tried using 2M when you patch the saver?

bmoles (06/21/2007 04:29AM)

oh i got it working..i found a site that had a different ndsrominfo.dat file and saver folder. i just replaced the old ones for the Supercard software, with the new ones.

The game's cool...but i prolly wont play it since I no speaka da japanese. haha

A schorr (06/21/2007 05:55AM)

To anyone asking what to do in every certain place:www.gamefaqs.com
probably the is someone who is already on a later part and did some of a walkthrough.

Darkgust (06/21/2007 07:07AM)

Right after the event on the box art, a giant friggin' sea monster came out of nowhere. Zelda was forced to harpoon it to death, before heading off to rescue Ashl... wait, wrong game.

hsiner (06/21/2007 08:47AM)

Been waiting for a game like this forever! I am so glad I took Japanese in school. The 3D graphic looks like Final Fantasy 3 and its great. I will be playing day in and day out, cheers.

jaronimo (06/21/2007 11:49AM)

does it work on the regular (slot-2) m3?

ps: stop the ****ing spoilers!

shadowmaster (06/21/2007 01:29PM)

T_T DS-X, you really disappointed me. REALLY, really disappointed me...

SuperCard Lite (microSD) cannot play.
R-4 carnel1.10 (without setting) can play.

mkenna (06/22/2007 05:11AM)

any one know how to get on the ship

satanic_bunny (06/22/2007 08:16AM)

anyone know what to do at the volcano top

jflaix85 (06/22/2007 10:27PM)

just stand at the front of the candles and blow them with the mic

jflaix85 (06/22/2007 10:30PM)

to get in the ship you must first talk to the barman and then go to the north path and find the sailor in the dark temple then head back to the ship

to make it work for M3 (GBA SLOT), just update the firmware to 34a and write the rom with the game maker 34a. download them in m3adapter.com/Download.htm

procopio (06/23/2007 01:23AM)

Oh boy! How long does it take to learn Japanese?

bmoles (06/23/2007 06:23AM)

hen120 - here ya go. http://wii.ds-scene.net/?act=viewtopic&s=ds&topic=3396
You just replace the ndsrominfo.dat and the saver file for the Supercard program with the ones from this site. oh, and make sure to take the Restart option off for the game.

zpmodel (06/23/2007 09:34AM)

^ I can't seem to register to download that...can you provide another link please?
And will it work with SuperCard SD Rumble?

bmoles (06/23/2007 08:35PM)

here's another site that has it. http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=53448 I think it will work with Supercard SD Rumble.

toadfuska (06/26/2007 02:34AM)

Zelda to ds is here now, jippii!

shonuff69 (06/26/2007 06:21PM)

when does the leak of the english version come out?

koolsmoky (06/28/2007 07:13PM)

Hmm, time to brush up on my hiragana/katakana...

victorsaurus (07/03/2007 05:09AM)

ok.
ive downloaded the rom from a few different sites.
& every time i put it up on my r4 card.
it comes up with a black background with red writing in japanese.
i establish this means its corrupt or something.
someone please explain to me how i am supposed to get it to work ?
would be really appreciated as I am a huge zelda fan & have been waiting for this game for ages.

victorsaurus (07/03/2007 05:20AM)

okkkkk.
now my r4 card doesnt turn on at all.
i downloaded that english 1.10 & put the new files on.
and when i turn on my ds it comes up with chinese writing.
& nothing happens when i press any of the buttons.
this is bad because now i cant play any of my games.
let alone zelda.
someone please help me !

Khao (07/04/2007 02:40AM)

how can i make this work on emulator? i don't have a DS so i can't use weird programs to upload to a cartridge

Khao (07/04/2007 02:54AM)

wow i made it work but it is working 25% - 40 % of the actual in game speed, tough in menus it works at 300% - 1000% of speed, someone know how to fix it?

yonis (07/04/2007 09:53PM)

For emulation use no$GBA. It works 100% aside from no cel-shading and slow play. You'll have to mess with the settings to get it to work correctly. Here are the settings that I'm using. If it starts going way too fast like Khao said, change Emulation Speed to 16.78 MHz. Go to Options>Emulation Setup. Emu Speed: Ulimited MHz Disaster, 100%, Sound output: Your preference, no sound will give a slight speed boost depending on your computer. Reset/startup: Directly, Sound sample rate: Your preference again... Skip down to NDS Cartridge backup media, and set that as FLASH 512KBytes. That should get it playing. You can mess around with the emulation speed during play without resetting, and depending on the speed of your computer and the game/scenario you'll want to use slowdown x2 or x10 or 16.78 MHz. Make sure to, after finding working settings, go to Options>Save Options or you'll have to set it up every time you play. For the microphone puzzles on the volcano island, use a computer microphone. Note though, that saving can be a bit dodgy.... I saved before entering the first dungeon and saved all throughout it, played through it in one sitting, but the game crashed and it reverted to the save before the dungeon... Save states don't work for me either. I think it only saves your saves when you normally close out of the program, but not if it crashes. I haven't tested that yet, don't hold me to it.
Also note that when playing, if the game's running at 50% speed, you'll have to make your touchscreen motions half as quickly because it needs to register the motion over enough frames to know that you're sliding forward to run, and not to stab.
Last piece of advice: USE A GUIDE. There's one up on GameFAQs that I used. It's a lot more frustrating to be stuck in the fortune-teller's basement when you don't know that you're supposed to blow on the map in the corner for some reason. Some of the puzzle solutions like that will leave you groaning if you don't use a guide.

Khao (07/05/2007 02:31AM)

yeah i was using no$GBA, i'll check my settings, then i just need to get a microphone to play fine.

potaffo (07/15/2007 07:59AM)

It is possible to play it with the DS-Xtreme

megman zx (07/18/2007 09:57AM)
