NDS: 2768 - Korg DS 10 Synthesizer

is this a new one or is it just the europe version?

Just the euro version. It's exactly the same (since the japanese one is, in fact, in english), save for a much better boxart.

if i dont synthesize in the next 48 hours i may die

just downloaded the rom and put it on my ds one supercard but it doesnt work. i get an error msg saying that "could not load data. please turn off the power and re-insert the game card".

any ideas folks?

also, i tried to pre-order this from zavvi and could'nt, gamestation didn't know anything about it and currys aren't gonna stock it..... the guy in zavvi said it was supposed to be released yesterday and that he had loads of calls from prospective buyers... what gives?

nah, nothing like that. this is the first proper music software for the ds. its a software synth much like the original korg instrument used in making sounds and riffs for a lot of music in the early 90s.
if u wanna play around with sound on a whole new level i would purchase this right away.

Try changin the save type to EEPROM 256Kbytes or EEPROM 8kbits

Uhh... dude, hes using a Supercard, not a emulator.

Oh yeah, an I have tried the jap version back in the day on my R4 and it didnt work then either, Could just be the game, and theres no hope for flashcarts

Just noticed the file size is less than 1mb. Wow. Such a complicated 'game' though. I don't really like it though. It gets boring after a while, like Electroplankton.

thats strange i tried the jap version on my R4 and worked fine. don't see much point in changing to euro version because jap one is in english anyway so i haven't tried this one but jap rom worked fine on my R4. maybe you need to update your firmware to 1.18. i like this korg but far too limited compared to what i'm used to and not enough drum channels but still it's a good for a pocket size synth thats about it. it's based on the Korg MS-10 synth made in 1978 in case anyone intrested.

wish Yamaha or some one would make a FM synthesis type of program on the DS like a DX-7 synth or a TG Module now that would be wicked!! or even better a Roland TB-303 emulation with TR-606 n 808!!! bring on the acid!!! oh nevermind i'm just dreamin and talking to much.

sorry for all the posts but heres just a little demo i made of it with some of my own patterns. i was dissapointed with the other demo's so had 2 make my own mostly just playin with the filter n fx. still pretty crap anywayz
