Yes and no. The PS2 version is wonderful and Ninja Gaiden esque. This is one of the worst handled ports in human history.

Seriously?! Good game?! Let's list what they did to it in order shall we?-Reduced the world to minuscule areas.-Cut out the majority of the action fighting for rather clunky platforming-Butchered the dailouge-Didn't bother to sync the cutscenes to the dialouge-Butchered the plot-Replaced Virt's soundtrack with crappy midi files-Cut out most of the enemies to make it more platformer friendly-Botched the mechanics-Removed the racing elementsNeed I go on?

It took me 2 hours and 40 minutes to beat the game. There is no fighting other than jumping on spiders. It's all just "stealth" and platforming (the platforming was actually fun at a few moments). This is a pretty insanely ridiculously mind bogglingly botched port. The ds could have handled everything from the ps2 version except for the graphics, but the "developers" (butchers) decided to get rid of 99 percent of everything else too.
