This is a pretty good game, actually, and how do you know it's a bad port of the PS2 version if you've never played it?

Sadly this is a really BAD PS2 port which lags like crazy on the overworld map to the point where I have to remind myself that I am NOT playing on a 3DS (or PS2 for that matter) emulator but on the actual hardware. I read that the actual PS2 version lags too but never tried it for myself.
