Community Status Updates

I attempted to learn Ruby a few times, but every time I did, it felt like what I was learning had nothing to do with what I wanted to use it for.

The only programs I've used are those in the RPGMaker series, and I wouldn't call myself good. I know nothing of scripting. : <

Silly me.

My idea of fun has boiled down to a few things: hanging with my friends at their houses, browsing the internet and reading about weird things and random location of the world, and... well, I can't think of anything else, really. Oh, playing games and creating them through programs, I guess.

Ugh. I have no attraction towards using guns or anything of that nature. Honestly, it seems pretty pointless to me, but I'm sure it is fun.

Sounds like it. Nothing that dangerous (exciting) happens around here, though. Well, I'm sure people hunt and play paintball, but I really not that interested in either to begin with. :/

I usually take a bath (no shower in this house) before finding out there's no school, which only contributes to the difficulty in sleeping again. So what is there to do for fun where you live? There's nothing here.

Don't you hate it when you wake up early to find out that school has been canceled? It especially irks me since I usually have a hard time getting back to sleep.

Yeah, I liked Acid Bath's PTT better than their other release, but they're both excellent albums for what they are.
It's great to see you have good taste in movies! I've been on an older movie binge lately and still need to get around to watching Citizen Kane, along with a few other Hitchcock movies!

About two years ago, when it was freezing cold outside, school was canceled, but here's the thing: it was canceled due to it being too hot inside the school. You see, the furnace overheated or something, and we got the day off. It was pretty amusing.

Also, you seem to like alot of the movies I do ;0

It was alright, I listened to it once and thought it was fairly interesting, especially the title track. Also, I never heard Acid Bath's '94 release, it's ehhh, I like some parts of it. That "Bleed Me An Ocean" song from PTT was pretty catchy though, still haven't finished that album.

Usually, we need somewhere between 15-25cm of snow before it can be canceled, but as long as the roads are frozen over, it doesn't really matter how much snow we get.

So you did like the Disillusion? That album took two or three listens for me, but it soon grew on me. Fast. There's just so much going on!

Yeah, I've been having the same problem with messages coming up like, a week after I get 'em. Listened to some of those alums btw, some great stuff.
