Try having two friends that live in Japan. They forced fed me until I could speak a little. Only reason being so they wouldn't have to use English when talkig with me from that point on.

I wish she spoke English. I had to apoligize to her after every sentence about my bad Japanese. She said it wasn't bad though and she at least understood what I was saying.

Well, worst part is I'm at AX next weekend. So even if I'm going to see San there (well her CV anyway), it still feels like a hollow victory.
