thnks for the sites! all of them are great! You are quite welcome...only, please, in the future, do not quote the post in your reply; it's too large, and thus, distorts the page. Thanks.

I was just wondering... why doesn't DGEmu host Playstation ISOs? Do you only deal in Roms?EDIT: Thanks. I didn't see that.I quote Teck in the following comment:"We already stated that we were going to host PSX ISOs soon."In fact, the majority of such are already uploaded to the server. The only thing that remains is to figure out how to charge for such - in DPs, etcetera - and who to restrict access to.

Edit: Alright, the torrent worked and I got FFIX.http://mougaga.agresor.info/ hosts a copy of all three discs of Final Fantasy VII; you will need to contact ZaberFanga for access to the site (zaberfanga@gmail.com), as he has dropped off the active radar of late.As to www.stationiso.us.tt, well, I have listed such, and it appears to be an excellent site. I have not yet had the opportunity to check the legitmacy of any of it's iso downloads (and help there would be appreciated), but I trust them to be intact. Thank you for the recommendation.

abour Renzukoken you need to pay to acces al the roms. When you register now you only get about three or something.Hmm, I'll go check that out. I have recently become acquainted with the site's founder/owner (Renz) via forum interaction, so I shall see if he can tell me what this is all about. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.edit: also some roms of station iso give the wrong links. I contacted him but no reply yet. Its gives links to the same file with some games. Like wild arms. or star ocean. ( I want my disc 2 is sad )Just keep trying. I experienced the same problem myself when attempting to verify the integrity of those games they host, however, repeated efforts will - in time - yield the desired file.

Also, if u live in the U.S.U cant pay anyways because it gives u an access error or something like that.Thank you also, noy0801, for bringing this to my attention. While I just recently left the United States of America (two days ago), I shall contact some friends therein to verify such.

In regards to Renzukoken.com------------------------------------------------Many of you have expressed some consternation with the recent activity at renzukoken.com. Having taken the word of the previous two posters in this thread to heart, I readily contacted Renz for further information. While his reply was rather late in arriving - and contained an added note to watch the homepage for updates - he basically confirmed everything that has thus far been said: Renzukoken.com, like many other emulation websites, is going to have to make some changes to support itself. The following notice has been posted on the site homepage...

In short - and to summarize the above noted notice and his email for those who do not speak French - Renz will be adding a survey to the site - as well as possible banners - and restricting the access of all registered members to a set amount of downloads (two). Furthermore, many accounts will be removed, and access restricted only to members who have donated. This change is necessary due to the great amount of traffic he recieves each day.I would urge those of you who have the necessary finances, and engage his site for news or downloads, to lend Renz your support and donate what you can. After all, do we not refer to ourselves as an emulation community? If we cannot help one another keep afloat, then what manner of community are we at all.Best of luck...

Gotta catch em all. edit: some of StationISO were stlen from this site. its good site has pc games and everything also anime. http://roms.animek.com/

I dont know if this has been said alreadybecause i havent read through this thread,if so, then delete this messages as it has no purpose, but in the emuparadise BT tracker. You have to give back if u wish to continue downloading from them. They will ban ur ip address if u dont. Which means u cantgo on the site either. No, it has not been noted in any prior message. Thank you for bringing such to the attention of the general membership. I had always assumed that it was common knowledge, however, it seems there is a great deal left unsaid that should not be. Again, thank you.

It was far from a "comlete waste of your time". RAR is an archived file format (like ".zip" files); in other words, the ISO exists within such, compressed to accomodate quicker uploads/downloads. In order to to "change it to an iso" you will need to dearchive it with WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm).Best of luck...

Please, take note of the following two items:I. The file did not change. It never changed. It will never change. The file was compressed (shrunk, or more accurately, wrapped up), and has now been decompressed.II. MDF and MDS files are alternate formats by which to preserve a ripped game. You will find that not all PSX games you download come in the strict .iso format; many will be in BIN, CUE, or - as in this case - MDF files. If you would rather they be ISO files, you may convert them using any of the programs put forth in this thread.

Does Renzukoken.com seem to be down for now? I'd like to help the site out by donating (money and ISOs), but can't seem to get in.Also, http://roms.animek.com/ seems like a great site, but I'm having a hard time actually getting registered for it. Everytime I try I either get an error or I never get an e-mail follow up with how to complete the process. Have others had this problem?I'd like to donate to both and also download some ISOs. Also would like to donate some ISOs that I haven't seen elsewhere. Thanks!

Does Renzukoken.com seem to be down for now?

Yes, it does. I would assume Renz is updating his site, or else, has experienced some sort of server error (one of the reasons he is now asking for patronage from his many fans).

Also, http://roms.animek.com/ seems like a great site, but I'm having a hard time actually getting registered for it. Everytime I try I either get an error or I never get an e-mail follow up with how to complete the process. Have others had this problem?

Yes. They are recieving a great influx of demands for registration of late, and thus, have had minor lock-ups in the system which handles such. I would recommend waiting until sometime later in the evening to attempt a registration. If all else fails, contact the site staff via their Contact Form.

I'd like to donate to both and also download some ISOs. Also would like to donate some ISOs that I haven't seen elsewhere.

Remain patient, and stay with us...we are finishing up the PSX iso archive herein, and - most likely - will be opening such up sometime in 2006.Best of luck...

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet but Bit Torrent trackers such as http://isohunt.com and http://www.demonoid.com have quite a lot of roms/ISOs and pretty much anything else you want.

d_pad: You are quite welcome. While you are at it, note that DGEmu too is always open to donations, which come not only with the personal satisfaction of knowing you have aided a great site, but also adds DPs to your account.Smelly Stuff: Thank you for your input. I have neglected torrents and torrent trackers for quite some time - focusing primarily on HTTP/FTP sites - and thus appreciate someone bringing torrents to attention once more. I would also like to throw out the following as superb BitTorrent trackers...http://thepiratebay.org/http://www.torrentspy.com/http://www.mininova.org/

A "part" file is precisely what it sounds like: it is a part of the whole. This is a common enough practice when attempting to distribute large files, and one you should become accustomed to. In short, the single large file is split into smaller pieces, each of which is then archived, and thus, able to be sent in less time to various parties. Once you have downloaded all of the parts, simply highlight/select and dearchive all of them (WinRAR will do such automatically). Your parts will then be compiled into the single file you sought after.Best of luck...

umm..there is only one "part" to it...one single file ~700mb...i have winRAR/zipgenius but they cant open itAlright...how about giving us the exact filename? That should shed some light upon what the author meant when using "part" in such.

Well, maybe that is an .ace file or maybe it's already iso/cue/bin, so check it.I have a question, I don't know if it's correct to ask this but I had been looking for the ISO of Wild Arms and I'm not able to find it. I saw Wild Arms 2 to download, but I already have that one. If someone could tell me please where to get Wild Arms (http) I would appreciate it a lot. If not, then I will then try to wait until we get ISO's here on Dgemu.Edit: Forgot to say that I tried the places that are shown in this thread with no luck.
