Well I kinda saved alot in the past like every 5 min. but now I only save before battles and important events in the game that I may hae to restart if I loose, but I save in game alot too! (In game - Not cheating / Shift F1 - Cheating!)

Before and after stages. And when I'm in critical conditions. E.g: Near death.But I'm guilty of using save states almost every second when I was just starting out..

I tend not to use them. Reason being that if I forget which one I used, I will delete the file. I have done that numorous amounts of times.

In easy games, i don't use them much, but in games like gunstar super heroes, i use them every few seconds. >.>

I used them way to often, like every 5 minutes on RPGs. Sort of cheap, but whatever.

I always use them right before boss/mid-boss fight (ie. Rockman Z). I save every so often (1~5 minutes) in games like Rockman EXE and Pokemon.

I usually use them when I'm taking a break, though I also use them instead of save spots in the game, because then I can stop whenever I want. Also before boss fights.

I only use it when I'm done playing the game. Kind of a reassurance my data isn't lost.

I'll save it when I know I'm going to die like VERY soon, like in a boss battle and whatnot. I use them mostly for RPG's but when I have to leave my computer and I'm in the middle of something ((a battle for instance)) I'll use it

Almost in every game. Everytime I think I've done somthing good, then I save with the states thingy.

Um... I use the Visual Boy Advance, and I save about every 5 mins, or if I get to a good part in the game which is hard to get back to, say if i died

I use save state whenever i am lost in a game and don't know where to go, I will save and choose a path randomly. If it is right then i am Lucky, If wrong I will Load the Save State and continue the Search

At every next important like corner or fight or step or stage or boss, in other words a whole lot but wen the game gets lame dont forget to delete the add files that comes with the savesI use save states at every boss, this way I can beat them when I want.
