I use save state when something good happens like when I pick up a good weapon, I'm at a boss, I just got through a really difficult section, etc.

I save state when I have a feeling I'll get in trouble during the game. so...pretty much all the time:P

I try not to use them, but sometimes it's almost impossible to resist. Mostly I use them in RPG games when you run into enemies that you really don't want to fight.

I use a lil of both, if I'm just to the point where I'm so bored I don't wanna hav to just save it, I'l just hit Shift-F1 and turn it off, even if I'm taking damage while doing it.

I try to use them only as "quick saves" at the save points instead of going through the saving system.I usually give in and use them if I'm in serious trouble and far away from healing or a save point though.

I use it ALL THE TIME.But I also use the normal saving just in case.

In games like pokemon, i save it while walking around, while healing, at options, while even normal saving. But i use it mostly in battles, like i save it before an attack so i can redo it if i miss or something also if the attack sucks against whatever i'm attacking and i save it to dodge stuff and also a lot of other reasons which don't come to mind at this time.

I uses save states every 7 seconds, and a lot of the time, I use up all 10 available spots. I know, I'm cheap.

In a way it is cheating. But what the heck, I use it anyway.why wouldn't you use the save state it's very useful and i don't think it's cheating

i constantly use it, the most i use is 3 but thats sometimes, i always use 2 save states

I always use save states regularly ...on any gamemostly on options ..i save to see what each option doeson pokemon i would save before the fight or even durin on a different state

I sometimes use them for when I want to use GameShark, sometimes for when I just feel I might have trouble with an area, and ALWAYS instead of regular saves. I hate regular saves! They only work half the time for me.

Save states are great for games like Fire Emblem. It may be cheating, but hey... I don't feel like restarting after losing one unit when I'm nearly done a mission.
