I use save states. There really handy. On my SNES emulator, all I have to do is hit F2 to save and F4 to load.

All the time. I can't not use them, they're incredibly handy for vital moments in the game.

I save when ever i'm about to start a hard battle, so like a boss battle or somethign of the sort.Or hard parts of the Level, i hate falling at a part and having to do it, ALL over again.

I'm bad. I almost never use the game ave and just do a save state. For every game too! So now I have five save states for every game I have 'cause I save on F1 to F5 to make sure I don't lose it. It's rather pathetic...

I play gba with pc-emu, so everytime I wont to, but it loses interesting to play.

Ever since I began emulating (quite a few years ago) I've been using save states for every game. That's like one of the top reasons why I'd rather play on an emulator, because of save states. So much simpler if you're very far away from a save state but theres a pressing matter taking you away from your beloved game.
Don't forget that your weapon was made by the lowest bidder ...

i use them alot before boos battles so i can just go back to start of the boss battle if i lose rather than play the whole level over again

I usually use it as genuine saves and not to cheat. It kinda cheapens the game when you beat it with cheating.Although I have to admit I did use it to beat couple of games that I felt was impossible to beat without.

don't really use them... I find them kind of not cool, you have to beat the game yourself and be proud 
I always wanted to slip on a banana peel and fall on my face ....

I save every couple of minutes (sometimes even more often). I am paranoid about losing my progress and having to redo even 5 minutes of the game.

I use them instead of regular saves, and sometimes if I need to cheat.I know that sucks, but some games are just to hard for me

i normally save state when i save the game at a specific saving post or whatever or when i have to vs a hard character/boss.

I use it all the time, it beats wasting going into options or finding a save point. And beats going through every again when u die.

i use it all the time especially in rpg games like pokemon, ff, and megaman it takes a load off when it comes around battling

I use them quite often. Especially for hard games or hard parts of games. They fix my mistakes.

for the gba i use them like 50 times in half an hour but i never really considered it heating since i only play fire emblem and final fantasy on gba these games are pretty easy I first used it when one of my saved games disapeared due to an error that had occured ir something they're more of a backup then a cheat i think
