I can't believe nobody mentioned Spawn (or I didn't notice it).Why Spawn? For many reasons.Let me first state- I haven't read the comics since I was in high school (which was probably around issue 8 or 9) so I have no idea about any of the characters, what the story is.... blah blah blah.Secondly- Never been fond of first person shooters. No idea why, just can't get into them.Finally- this game rocks so hard it will make your eyes bleed and your head explode!Imagine a combination of power stone, streetfighter, and a FPS game all wrapped together. There's tons of characters, and they all have crazy weapons and moves. You can pick up weapons and power ups scattered around the field. You've got super moves and combos you can activate with old fashioned Capcom SF techniques.It's got a crazy, wanky heavy metal soundtrack- I don't like metal, but it just suits the frantic, balls to the walls fighting that this game has going for it.Any game where you can have giant demons, knights, hoochie lazer shooting angel women, a decombosing zombie that barely moves, and a wolf all fighting giant cybernetic monkeys, wizards and soldiers in the pits of hell gets a high mark from me, any time of the day.I'm also particularly fond of Records of Lodoss War and Frame Gride

mine was Sonic adventure because i like the story first of all and secondly i just did not like rouge in sonic adventure two

Well, there haven't been a lot of games for the DreamCast. I always liked Shenmue. It was something new and special.

Power Stone: how many times do I have to repeat myself. it is not only the best Dreamcast game, but the second best fighter ever (Super Smash Bros. Melee is godly)

I'm wondering what the general opinion on the subject is. I've had my DC ever since the thing came out a little over six years ago, and over those six years I've never been quite sure of what I thought on the subject, much less what anyone else thought.

There's just too many to count as "the best"!Some of my favorites-Spawn: What a fun game! And I don't even like comics!Powerstone: Still have yet to see a fighting game with as much fun and variety thrown in it.Record of Lodoss War: My favorite Diablo- styled dungeon crawler.Tech Romancer: another fighting game that sadly hasn't got an update. Lots of fun!

I actually played PSO alot back in the day when it was free on Sega.net but i would have to say Shenmue, Grandia II and Skies of Arcadia.

since i'm a biased fighting game fan, i'll say:Marvel VS. Capcom 2Capcom VS. SNK 2Street Fighter III: 3rd Strikethey were all perfect ports from their arcade versions

Haha, HELL no they weren't SFIII was butchered (in comparison to the arcade). However, these were some fine games indeed. SFIII rocks. And on Dreamcast too.I thought Code Veronica was a shitty game, but I've noticed people seem to like it for one reason or anothersince i'm a biased fighting game fan, i'll say:Marvel VS. Phantasy Star Online, tbh I never played it on dreamcast but I had it on the GCube it lasted me quite some time and it was originally on the DC.
