Story and gameplay are the most important aspects of a game, FF7 was better than the rest of the PS FF games with fairly poorer graphics.

Gameplay all they way. Games should focus on gameplay because that's what they're ment to be, games. Not just good looking stuff, but something that you can play! Graphics are not as important as gameplay, and people should really know that.

Gameplay.I am very impressed with where graphics have gone, but the major 'killing' factor for me has been the shortness of games.IE, I was happy with the length of Doom 3 for a FPS. I am NOT impressed with how short Heavenly Sword is, despite being a visual mind-(censor). Same feelings about Crysis; it could have been, at least, HALF again as long as it was.I know graphical data has to have a place, somewhere, on a disc, but if games are going to continue being short, and companies are going to half-(censor) their games, I'll just have to keep playing oldies.

graphics are only about 15% of the game for me. i play for the story, which is why i loved star tropics! of course, Shadow of the Colossus has really good graphics which made the game a lot better.

Gameplay is a major factor that makes a good game, and good graphics can help influence people to play the gameSo basically a mixture of both

as long as the game drags you into it and keeps you playing it doesn't need the grafixPOINTS were deducted for this post by KHRSPlease refer to the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.

Hmmm well I prefer a little of both. I really hate it if a game has bad graphics but what's the point if it has great graphics but is completely boring. So i'd want a balance lol XD

To me, it's the gameplay, as long as the graphics are bearable and it is a great game to play, then I'm in.

For the most part I choose Gameplay over graphics. Though when it comes down to it most games don't normally have the best of both sides and you end up falling for that certain title for one reason or another. Some games I love to play over and over just for the gameplay and some games I play over and over just because they are kickass look-wise!

I play for gameplay, I could care less if it has PS3 type graphics, or NES type graphics, it just has to have lots of depth to it and keep me coming back for a long time.

Graphics are important only to the point where you need to see what you are doing. I'm definitely a gameplay person.
