I could go either way really. I like sick graphics and I like great gameplay. I could play a game with mediocre graphics and awesome gameplay, or I could play a game with mediocre game play and sweet graphics. Entertainment is entertainment I guess haha.

The game doesn't have to push the boundaries of the graphics for me to play it but it does need to try to keep up with the standard being set by other games. *knocks on wood* If the graphics are okay and the gameplay/story are excellent, thats the game I'd pick over a game thats most expensive aspect was the graphics.

If the story is interesting and gameplay is good, I would careless about graphics. However, if the story and gameplay is mediocre, then the graphics has better be awesome.

good graphics are great but for a great game the graphics would need to be paired with good story

I play games for the GamePlay. Sure Graphics are awsome and important but when making a game, gameplay should have more priority. Your not making a movie your making a Videogame, and people play for the game not the graphics. If we would put this in a diagram that shows which is more important, then it would be a circle with these results:Gameplay 90%Graphics 10%Heres an Example: Who here plays or played Pacman? Did you like it? Ok, if you did. Tell me, did the game have good graphics? Or was it more about the Gameplay? Well there you go!

I prefer to buy games based on their gameplay but graphics do factor in somewhere. If I'm going to buy a game that is on multiple consoles I first try to figure out if there are any differences in gameplay, abilities, extras, etc. but if there aren't any then I buy the one on the system with the better graphics. I'm also a big fan of puzzle games though, and they almost never need to have good graphics. So yeah I buy based on gameplay and storyline more than anything.

I think that Game play is much more important than graphics.I personally don't get why people would rather play a horrible game with good graphics, instead of playing a great game with moderate graphics.

I myself are more set onto gameplay.I actually do prefer many old games on the SNES and NES over what the PS3, 360, and Wii can offer, due to the sole factor that they are so addictive, I replay them all the time.Of course, the graphics doesn't need to be sophisticated and all, but at least distinguishable.I wouldn't want to play as a black dot trying to avoid black dotted enemies on a black background or some sort of thing like that... lol

To be honest I don't care if the graphics are 8-bit or 360-bit as long as the game keeps me entertained thats all thaty matters to me.

I prefer gameplay over the graphic, take example of Disgaea.

Oh yeah Disgaea is a very addicting game with limited graphics.

I'll go for gameplay. Graphics, as long as they're okay enough for me to know what's going on is fine. If it's so good, but wastes space/makes it slow, I'd pick a worser graphic games. I'd pick a game with excellent gameplay and moderate graphics, over excellent graphics and moderate gameplay.

Graphics are important, but of course so is gameplay, they'd have to go hand in hand. But I'd say gameplay is ultimately more important.

gameplay is far better than graphics because it doesn't matter whether the graphics are amazing, if the gameplay is **** you ain't gonna play it.seriously my favourite fps was the origonal perfect dark and their graphics were pathetic

If the graphics are amazing and the gameplay okay, I'll play it. If the graphics are horrid but the gameplay okay, I won't. Retro/simple is not horrid.
