I'd take gameplay over graphics anyday because something could look as good as Halo and play like Drawn to Life . . .

I hav to say gameplay, u know, when the graphics are ok, but u can keep on playing because the story's so long.

I play for graphics but a beautiful game with a sad gameplay is not a good game. It's 50%graphics and 50% gameplay B)

I play for gameplay, My outdated PC means that If I get a game I have to like it a lot because I cant fully utilise the graphics, so If a games just eyecandy Im not gonna get it.

While graphics are important, I believe good gameplay is by far the more essential element in a fun game.

The gameplay is whats needed, with graphics being good enough for me to recognize the difference between one character and another

Graphic for the first impression...but the game had to do something with its game play...well it's a GAME in the first place...

gameplay is most important to megraphics need to be decent thofor example, FFVII is AWESOME! but i dont play because the graphics are really dateda bit dated is no prob for me, but that goes too far.

i'll only play if the gameplay is decent, great graphics are just an added bonus. seriously, i will play a ps3 game with awesome systems in it, even if it has graphics as basic as NES.
Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

Graphics first for me. It's what draws you to play the game in the first place, the gameplay catches on after that to make the game what it is. First impression counts.

for me, both are crucial. A game with bad graphics are horrible, but one with bad gameplay is just as bad.

Graphics can enhance a gaming experience, but can't create one. If a game is terrible, the best graphics in the world couldn't fix it. If you only play games on the Wii, you would think the graphics are amazing. If you own multiple systems, you will notice more that the graphics of the Wii can be a hindrance to the games overall enjoyment.

In all honesty, what makes me initially become interest in the game are the graphics. If i knew nothing of it, but it looked amazing, that alone is a big plus for me to buy the game despite the reviews it may have had on it's storyline. However, there are gorgeous looking games that i do regret buying because of their storyline. I've become more careful now when purchasing my games, but visuals usually get the best of me.

Definately, hands down, gameplay, and when I say gameplay I'm going to assume story is implied as part of it, since graphics are purely superficial and have nothing to do with how the game actually plays, unlike storyI do love it when the two go hand in hand though

i play nba 2k9 over nba live 09, 2ks graphic are worse but the gameplay is so much better.
