I play games based on good gameplay but graphics matter too. If the game looks like crap it won't catch my eye.

It's definently because of the gameplay. Graphics do not matter in a game unless the game is boring. If you zone into the game when you're playing then you won't even notice the graphics

Graphics are nice and all, but I would like to have a game that has good gameplay, and good graphics. Alot of companies care about the Graphics, I mean look at Batman: Arkham Asylum, kickass graphics, and kickass gameplay. The game is one of my favorites on the PS3.

I'd take gameplay over graphics, I still love my Super Nintendo.

i definitely play for the gameplay not the graphics. good graphics are cool and all but say they came out with a new pokemon game that had the look of red/blue, i'd still be at the store buying it and playing it cuz it would be good =]-------------Kevin Celtic's PokePetPosted ImagePsych the level 75 Alakazam!

I would be going for gameplay, but the graphics matter as well.If it has terrible graphics but great gameplay, I probably won't buy it.

Gameplay for certain. I don't mind graphics whether they're 3D or 2D providing they don't have huge glitches.

Gameplay, I hate games that try to get you to buy them just because their pretty. Its like their trying to turn console users into pc players.

I'd rather play with crappy graphics than crappy game play any day. I mean really what is so appealing about a game that has like HD graphics when its game play is equivalent to dirt, although there sometimes is a limit. When the graphics are so bad u can barely tell things apart that's when I draw a line. I still need to find a game that does that.

The graphics and gameplay need to compliment each other. If I have a game that intends to be more realistic in gameplay it should reflect that in the graphics. If the game isn't meant to be taken seriously and isn't aiming for realism then the graphics should match that as well. When these 2 things, in conjunction with a good story, come together then you get great games.

The gameplay is what makes the game enjoyable, but I still want good graphics because it livens the gameplay by making it more realistic.

No graphics???Then it isn't a graphical game then? I mean I'm pretty sure that all xBox games are something like you use a controller and in response, you get a visual feedback on the screen? It might be an audio-based game then? Very interesting, I didn't know there was such game like that that had no graphics at all.Well, I suppose there are some great games that are not visual.

The Pit is nothing but a black screen. It uses sounds and controler vibrations for gameplay. In the game you play as a blind monster in the bottom of a Pit with no lighting and you job is to eat anyone who falls in.It's only graphics and plain font stating that there are no graphics, even the tutorial is nothing, but audio.

Gameplay is EVERYTHING, but when you add great graphics it makes you feel good, and really get into what you are playing. You can have ASTONISHING graphics but a crappy game. So gameplay is very important.

The biggest draw for me to play a game is gameplay I prefer to play something fun and innovative in terms of gameplay than a game in which most of the budget was spent on graphics.

A good gameplay and good story is important. But of course, add some pretty decent or maybe even great graphics and you get one of the most selling games ever. ;)
