I voted gameplay. Sometimes graphics are important with the gameplay, but some games with bad graphics e.g. the original pokemon red/blue have horrible graphics/pokemon sprites, but the gameplay is good, because I enjoyed it.

gameplay hands down. I still play my N64 games even though those graphics are pretty bad nowadays. Good graphics get old real fast if there is not good gameplay.

I cant believe this is even a question, some of the best games I have ever played look like they were drawn on a magnadoodle. graphics shouldnt matter at all, only shallow gamers prefer graphics to gameplay

Gameplay is by far the most important, but synergy of the two is key to a great game.I have had good games ruined by terrible graphics, and i have had beautiful games ruined by horrid gameplay.

Definitely gameplay. Graphics are important but they aren't worth anything without good gameplay. DS games like Brain Academy do not have cutting edge graphics but the gameplay is excellent. I have several PC racing games that look absolutely beautiful but they never spend more than an hour on my PC because the gameplay is not up to par.

I think gameplay because the graphics dont really matter unless they are so bad u cant see were u or andy one else is. Gameplay is definetly better because i bought FF1 + FF2 a while a go and they are awsome even though the graphics arent that good.

It appeared a silly poll for me.Game is supposed to gameplay come first. If I want graphics, I 'll watch animation or movies. And great gameplay last longer.

Gameplay over graphics for me. You can forgive a great game for its less-than-par graphics, but a graphically stable game with horrible gameplay is hollow.
