Gameplay of course. But I prefer a game to have good quality in all those factors. Gameplay, graphics, story, sound, and so forth. What a shame that there are still crappy games being made and released after all this time that videogames have been existing.The good thing about graphics though is that it could immerse you more into the game simply by its creative visual beauty which is something worthy in the end.

Gameplay...not gonna rant about why and how and such...not today. Ill leave it at this: I still play Diablo2 up till today whenever i feel like a hack&slash - how many years since that has been released? Contrarily, we have Dungeon Siege2 Broken World or Titan Quest and even Oblivion, relatively new installments, but i think i got bored of m already after one measily playthrough - about a week or so...

I would like a balance or Perfect for good reason. First, if you have too much gameplay and bad graphics you won't able to see kool attack its probody hard to tell the enemies are hard to aim, you'll be like "what the @#$%" where did that come from. im not talking about camera angles. Second, too much great graphics with little gameplay or suckie gameplay will suck the game even. Its like *shots the bad guy with a press of a button boring. So a balance is good. If I had to choice it would be on game play, but not with bad graphics like 70% gameplay and 30%. OR A GAME WITH BOTH GREAT GAMEPLAY AND GRAPHICS WOULD BE NICE TOO!!!!

i play games coz of its game play , i never play gba games for graphix!

I play mostly for the gameplay. although... the graphics are a little bit imporant, you know. snice if the graphics are soo crappy you can't tell what's what then that defeats an otherwise good game.

I would definatley have to agree with you, 29030. The GBA is my absolute favorite system because gameplay HAD to be the focus. Sure, there are games on the GBA that look pretty but most of what's on there (and good) is using tried-and-true gameplay tweaked for over a quarter of a century.

If it is a GBA game, then gameplay is essential. But if it's a PS3 game, then I except nothing but perfection when it comes to the graphics.

When you pay that kind of money for a system and game, then yes, it better have killer graphics. Yet I doubt there is a PS3 title that you will buy simply for the graphics.

I prefer the gameplay. I could care about graphics less unless it's some pretty darn bad graphics. Then I'm not even gonna bother playing the game at all.

Game play is probably the most importantCause graphics doesn't have to be all that great for a game to be goodAnd if its just graphics alone with a bad game playLike, "OMG I CAN SEE EVERY BLADE OF GRASS ON THE LAWN!"and the game play is"MAN I LOVE THIS LAWN MOWING GAME! I always prefer the gameplay i knew a game for Sega Genesis called Sensible Soccer and the graphics stinkz but the gameplay rocks.
