Well in back to future 1: his mother falled in love with him and not his dad so he was dissapearing and in other back to future i cant remember what plot in what film,he went to the future and bought a magazine on sports, every teams winning and losing in every sport and this guy found it cant remember his name and wrecked martys present life, buy using that book to bet and win alot of money and martys mum was married to the rich guy and not his fatheralso he went to the future and saw how he cant take being called a chicken and then he went back in time to fix it.

Lightning was just used to give an extra boost to the fuel cells the "fuel" was changed to trash at the end!
