definately for all ages...it has the fun, attraction and family freindiness for little kids...while having the depth and dark tone older gamers seek in most games.Its also the only time you can see DISNEY characters actually use physical violence (outside of comedic purposes and certain movies) and actually be serious. Did i mention you get to see Mickey Mouse kick some donkey? >:3

For me, Kingdom Hearts just shows to prove that Disney still has that edge when making good graphics and "Disney Endings" (and they lived happily ever after).

in my opinion KH is one of the rpgs out there and i think it shows that KH is suitable for all ages.

It proves that all ages can play even adults, cause it contains a bit of everything, good graphics, good storyline, nice gameplay, I think square enix (squaresoft) and disney was a nice combination.

It's a fun game that can be for all ages. Even my mom played for a few levels!!!!

I like kingdom hearts but to made it better they should have take out some disney cartoons and added more FF charaters

kingdom hearts IS for all ages.It's an excellent display of how disney has such a wide audience.I still watch winnie the pooh....

It's for allll ages. I didn't really like the cameos too much, but KH2 trailers has taught me new respect for mickey.

I'm not sure that i would say KH is for all ages. It was designed so that it wouldn't leave out any age groups by leaving out some features like excesive violence and blood. I'm not sure that it would appeal to any other age groups besides the ones that Disney targets.

The Mix of Disney and Square Characters gives it that all around touch. Also, the game play is exellent. The Disney toons do give that nostalgia for the older generation people. I enojed it because I have been both a huge Disney and Square fan for ages.

Kingdom Hearts shows that Disneystill got what it takes, most games are suitable for all ages, you can still enjoy them even though it says the 3+,7+,12+,15+ etc signs on it, dont really matter

I believe that KH isnt aimed at a younger audience at all, I think it was meant for teens because it isnt an easy game for a younger kid to play all that well, especially on difficult, but it is a very good game and I cant wait for KH2 to come out, I already have it reserved

dont think its for kids... they dont understand the stryline and stuff like that...saw a kid play it once and they dont kno wat they are supposed to do... lol

I agree i think it was targeted at teens and they just say for all ages to get those more layed back to give it a chance.

Kingdom Hearts is definitely for teenagers, Disney probably realised that they were a more profitable audience to target than little kids. I would give the game a 9+ or a 11+ age rating. Little kids might get freaked out by some of the images or shots in the game, and plus they would not understand the storyline or the plot that well, thus not getting the meaning of the game. Although aspects of the game may be targeted at young audiences, such as the characters Mickey and Donald, along with Tarzan, Aladdin, the little mermaid, etc. the intricate and convoluted design of the plot of the game may be too hard for them to understand, ie. they'll probably play and finish the game, but not know the true meaning of the storyline.Just like all Final Fantasy games, not for young children.

the game is not specialy made for teens but I think younger would not understand the story or migh not be able to play since its still a hard game. I was really amazed by how the mix of Square and disney character fit. the idea of all the different world is great. maybe it would be fun if more squaresoft character had theyr word. and I also wished they actualy had final fantasy world instead of just the heroes lost because theyr world was destroyed. since most ff character are from ff7 it would have been nice to have midgar made as world. the train station. tifa's bar, the sewer, the slum. would have been great. but I guess they wanted to focus on disney and only added the ff character so we dont only see disney heroes
