Methinks the Gameplay has the Edge needed to keep up with the other Titles in its Genre. Also, I must State that the Level of Little Mermaid in KHII reeked of Something Foul.

Before i first played it, i first thought to myself that i would never play such a kiddy looking game. Then i found out that the makers of final fantasy helped make it so i played it and loved it. The combat's simple and the story's decent (i might have liked it more if i played all the final fantasies i guess). The disney characters just add more worlds for you to play in =)

My half-sister with children asked me the exact same thing, if her 6-year old daughters would like it, I would say yes, but you know, my nieces are wimps, and so... Well, Kingdom Hearts 1 might be for kids, but not the second one.

The Story line, I believe, is mature enough for all ages and the addition of Disney Cartoon characters just makes the game much more reminiscent for adults. So its an all Ager game.

Yeah, it's for all ages and I'm living proof since I'm 28 and enjoyed both games. The characters and cute but the storyline is often more geared to older folks, not to mention it's not like the gameplay is easy and geared towards kids. Some of those bosses (especially the optional ones) require some major skill and practice to beat. I thought the sequel was a little repetitive with return trips to Agrabah, Atlantis, Olympus and had some battles against the same tired bosses but it was still pretty solid.Stevo

I think there are too many serious elements to be only a kid's game. I think I kid could enjoy it, but an adult would better understand all of the hearts and heartless and whatnot.

I think kids could enjoy it. My little brother loves Kingdom Hearts and its sequel. He doesn't understand the story, but he has some skill.

I think Kingdom Hearts is for everyone. Moreso for teens and older than it is for kids. The Disney titles in the game are ones we've grown up with; The Lion King, Mulan, Tarzan. Kids on the other hand may have grown up with a newer line up and may not connect to it the same way the older ones do. To add on, some elements just aren't easy so there's a mix of tough thrown in.

It's definitely for all ages because it's very enjoyable and it's not too immature or too mature.

It defintiely shows that Disney chars can be in a game for anyone. Just look at the storyline, it's deep enough to be a little confusing at times. The first game's story was deeper than most games that have been around and have sequels.

Definitely for everyone. It has some depth in KH, especially with Square Enix's ingenious plan of incorporating them into fights (yay Stitch!).

definitely classified under fun for all ages. besides...it's not like kids would've understood the shounen ai nuggets in KH 2. that aside, the plot can be a bit difficult to follow, but for kids who don't get it, hey there's disney.

I would say no. It may have disney characters but the story isn't really disney. Some little kids might not get the story about heartless and nobodies and organizations.
