the characters are aimed at younger audiences... but the game play is aimed at an older groupthe story line is intricate and final fantasy-like... so i would say that the game is for a more mature game player...

Although, i think young kids would enjoy this game alot, there are alot of jokes that they wouldn't understand, just like there are jokes in children's movies that only adults would understand.

It's definitely for all ages. It has a serious, dark tone when the in-depth scenes come, but it still has the fun Disney-friendly scenes and worlds that are great for kids. The fact that you are playing with characters you already know (Final Fantasy and Disney) makes this a great game.

Yeh, its for everyone. I know it seems lame for 16 year olds to be playing games featuring Disney, but the way they incorporated them was flawless, as well as some of the "older" disney things eg Pirates of the Carribean. COnsidering that Disney and SquareEnix are juggernauts of their respective industries, its no surprise that its a good game for all.ps: yeh, I know, i'm biased

I'd say it's fine for all ages. It depends on wheither they're able to play it, I had alot of difficulty on some of the later levels.

I didnt buy this game because of the Disney characters. I just can't get deep into a story line then all of a sudden goofy and mickey are in it.

it is a game good for everyone to play....it rocks dude! if you play you unDERSTAND! ok!It's for all ages, only that I think disney wants to start appealing to ppl beyond the 'children' age group, that's why disney characters are in this game.As for proving whether disney characters can be part of a game with wide appeal, yeah I think it does, and I think that disney can start to make a few more of these type of games

Well the storyline overall has sort of a mature feel to me, but the addition of Disney characters is actually quite original, which made the game suitable for the mature and the kid gamer. In a way it kind of satisfies both aspects because of the strong storyline with plot twists while keeping it humorous with the Disney characters basically satisfying all. (*feels like im talking about food* lol )

Nah i dont really think it is i mean i guess the theme of the whole thing might be a little childish but i think the games it self arent at all especially with all the action in it.

It's definitely for all ages, otherwise a lot of people wouldn't like it if it was just an E for kids. It has an advanced plot with many darker renditions in the second one to follow.

Its good for all it has certain things about it to keep the older gamers interested but also it has the disney characters to get little kids interested so its a game for everyone and injoyable....all except the mermaid level in the second one it was pointless

Yes and no... The game revolves around characters from the various disney universes, but the gameplay and main story is astonishing. And how would it not? Square Enix has always done good with it's games, and Kingdom hearts is no exception. The subject matter isn't important, its the killer gameplay that makes me love it so much.

its not just for little kids, the game has depth and story its is quite good, I think that because they use the disney charecters it was deemed as a child's game.people have pre-concieved notions because they see disney it pisses me off!!!!

I believe that Disney was very smart in deciding to add more of a Final Fantasy element in the Kingdom Hearts franchise because not only does it make it great to build on top of the stories of the Final Fantasy charachters but it also helps stretch out to a much larger audience. Kudos to them.

I don't think it's for little kids. Some of the fights are pretty intense. Though I could see a parent and child playing together. The kid doing the basic battles, then the parent doing the boss fights. Aww, how cute
