I've got a question for you people. Unless if this is done, I'm sorry for making it again.I wanna know how you got into console and gaming! I got into gaming by my uncle and my older cousin. They were playing the MEGA Drive, Sonic the Hedgehog numba one. I always use to watch 'em play, when they was in my house from then I started playing various of games on different consoles. That's how I got into it.

My pops and my sister have always played the OG nintendo around me since I was 1 so it automatically grew on me. It's funny cuz I have a picture where my pops and uncle are playing Duck Hunt when I was in my cradle next to them.

When i was a child, as I fathom the case to be many years ago... I was introduced :D to video games through parental neglect. My parents borrowed and then later purchased an Atari 5200 as a replacement for parenting, trust and love and the usual good stuff you expect from decent parents. As soon as that burned out, they continued to buy games for me until it was too late to be good parents and then they started chastising me for the way i had appearantly brought myself up on video games and never given them the chance to be good parents. Bullturds! My little brother was playing NES before he could spell NES, let alone his name, or even count to ten. I remember him running straight into the first baddie in Super Mario Brothers on panel 1-1 because he didn't know how to push the buttons. And i was more or less the same demon. So, that's pretty much the way it goes.

My Big Brother, I saw him playing when I was 2 or 3 and also wanted to play... It wasn't really interesting at first, I mean, Mario on NES was kinda boring but since I was an introvert, I didn't have many friends... My brother is almost 6 years older than me, parents were always busy, the only tihng I could do is play and it turned out to be a habit to kill time

I would have to say my friend down the street introduced me to console gaming. Previously, I was only familliar with old computer games (Commodore 64 and Atari ST), but when he got his NES, he invited me over to play. Since it was my very first console style game ever, I was painfully bad at playing it (could hardly control mario). I got used to it after a while and a year later my parents bought me a NES. I never bought any other consoles after that, but when I was introduced to emulators around 1997, I then proceeded to play through all the games I had missed out on.

One of my more well-off friends when I was very young had a NES, so we'd invite ourselves over there to play it. Once prices went down more of my friends got NES as well, so I could play a lot more often. I'm a big leech <_<

Well, when I was little my babysitter would take me to her house (which was just down the block) and we'd blay her SNES. Zelda and Mario. Fun times. Then I got a friend that had a NES and we'd take turns playing Yoshi's Island. Then my other friend got a PS1, and we'd do Spyro. Then I found out that some video rental stores would rent systems, so I'd rent N64 and PS2. Then they stopped. It wasn't cool, but then my parents said we could buy a PS2. Later I got a GC, and my brother got an X-Box. But the first system I owned was a GBC. Fun times. POkemon got me hooked. :)
