i know there are A LOT of you out there that didn't like the cel shaded link, but is there anyone else who actually thinks that it looked good? i mean, i loved it. it was pleasant change, and a good style choice imho.

Depends on the game really. I think Windwaker cellshading looked good.and somethings are better cell shaded ne way.

I've nothing against the Cel-Shaded Link, though I preferred the Adult, Realistic Link. That's why I was so delighted with Nintendo's new trailer of the new Zelda.

I like cel shaded when it's properly used like in ToS and Zelda

its good for certain games, and i guess due to wind walkers succes other people liked it as well, however if u want real approprately placed cell shaded graphix loook at tales of symp.i also like the realistice adult link as well.

Definately the adult Link is thought of the as "true" form of Link in the zelda series but you can go two roads for graphics. there is the way of realism which in it's own right is awesome, the amount of detail an d everything is great. Then there's the way of cel shading. And that is where true art lies. Instead of the strive towards perfect photorealism in games they make it artistic like in windwaker when the enemies die and the smoke comes out. Both styles are very good but it depends what your striving for.

i'll agree that most people think the adult link is the "true" form, but who are we to decide his true form. i think that one is up to miyamoto.i'm not saying that realistic link isn't great, i mean it's damn sexy. but i'm just tired of people knocking wind waker just because of it's artisic style.

Cel Shading is great. The games to use it best so far, in my opinion, are Dark Cloud 2 and Wild Arms 3.

I like cel-shaded graphics but only in moderation. If every game were cel-shaded I would hate it.

pickle, imo the true zelda is the zelda I always knew from the time I've played it, the very first, meaning, the kid zelda ;)anyway, yes, a cel shaded g raph in EVERY game would be VERY annoying

Cel shading is a cool affect, but I also like photo-realistic effects as well.

All of you who didn't like it, get your heads out of your buttcracks and LOOK. You are now the minority on this subject. Cel shading is great, you never see it. It's something original and it looks great. Lots of games have crappy graphics but it doesn't seem to bother you that they do as long as they are your nice old polygons, right? W/e. I love cel shading and hope to see Wind Waker 2 sometime.

I love cell shading, its awsome. Wind Waker was a great game, and seriously I wouldn't care if they did another zelda in cell shading, the emotions and expressions were awsome. There were some things you couldn't do in regular 3D that you could do in cell shading.

Well everyone is talking about "LINK" GBA games are 90% cellshaded and no-one seems to care. Besides for children games cell shading makes it look very nice and CLEAR. While we are so obsessed with awesome graphics sometimes it is very fuzzy. Cell shading is fine as long as it is done in the age appropriate game. (Imagine a game like Metal gear or Tom Clancy in cell shade!)Also if you don't like cell shading don't play the game!

Cel shading is okay as long as they put it in the right games and as long as the game is good.
