fighting games are great multiplayer games, but RPGs can be more addicting. Especially if u get stuck, then you'll spend countless time trying to figure out what to do next.

I think that both are great i got hooked on to super smash bros melee the second i played it and fire emblem is incredibly addicting although once you beat it is boring but rpgs are long and take time to beat and fighting games you really get into and you just can't stop playing and if it is multi player you will want to show off how good you are at that game that you cream them th second they start.I agree that RPG's are the most addictive, I find that I get bored of fighting games quite rapidly, whereas a good rpg can make hours dissappear without me realising.

too differente genders to compare, fighting games need mare people to really shine, while rpgs are single player orientedrpgs offer very clear rewards for your play (a sword, a skill, etc), fighting games arent so clear here, as to improve you need to fight different players, and you might not get better after a set amount of timeon the other hand fighting games are pick up and play and faster paced, rpgs require a time i dont always havecant decide, like i said earlier, too different genders

RPG are more addictive since it sticks to a sotry and you want to play to find out the ending, on the other hand fighting is just senless punching and kicking and chopping and other moves against other playeers, both good overall, but RPG got more of a theme to it, so you are more intriuged

The only fighting game I ever found more addictive than rpg's is super smash. Other than that nothing.

yeah.. RPG can kill alot more time than fighting games..and for me.. i get bored playing fighting games.. like tekken or what so ever.. haha..i really love FF!!

RPGs, once you beat them, it's over.Fighting games are fun but they get repetitive.

I think that fighting games can be more addictive than RPGs if you have a huge variety of friends to play with so that you are not versing the same person over and over again.

fighting games are fun for a while.. they get really boring after u unlock everything. rpgs take much more time to complete so id say rpg

Fighting games are so much more addicting. Story line RPG's are good for the story, but when it's over they're all boring
