rpgs are more addictive with all the leveling up,items and stories.fighting games are good and all but they just don't grip me for as long

Fighting games are really repeitive, cause you just punch kick throw etc with different moves and stuff, and there's no more you can do with the game apart from that. =\

On the short term a RPG is more addictive cause of the story and suchit is a more intence experience than a fighting game but on long term the replay value of a fighting game is much higher so on long term a fighting game will win.If you play online, like world or Warcraft VS Dead or Alive Ultimate for example, i guess its about taste

for singleplayer RPGs are more addictive, but when it comes to multiplayer obviously you're gonna play the fighter and not bore your friend to death

I say the same as most seem to do. RPGs are addictive when you play by yourself, but otherwise play fighting games of course!!! :drool:

rpgs are more addictive cuz they get u into the game and u want to lvl up all the time, fighting games are cool but u play only until u beat the last boss and some more times after that.

RPG's take longer to finish than fighting games. Fighting games however are more heart pulsing (if there is such a term) than RPG's.I could compair fighting games to sports. Both make me sweat a lot. Both require quick reactions. Both require instincts. :ph34r:I could compair RPG's to books. Both have great storylines and possibly amazing graphical arts.I am personally more into books and computers so I would honestly say that RPG's are more addictive for me. :ph34r:
