Personally i think that RPGs are more addictive due to more gameplay hours you can put into it, plus the story is usually much more indepth, though some games like super smash bros. melee are an exception since tons of people play it there's almost always new competition.

Overall, I would have to say that rpgs are more addictive because of the whole storyline thing. Fighting games I can only stand a few matches before stopping.

I think RPGs are more adictive because of the story . Fighting games are more adictive when you have a person to play with.

I believe rpgs are more addictive, because if the rpg has good story you only will be satisfied when you get all it's secrets.

RPGs are definitely more addicting because it combines action, strategy and story. Personally I don't care how I get to the end, or whether I get all the secrets as long as I get the entire story.

i fully agree POINTS were deducted for this post

Depends on who you are talking to. If you are talking about intelligent people, mainly RPGs. If you are talking about people who listen to rap and want to do the same things as them, then probably fighting.

I'd have to say that I get into RPG's more than fighting games. But I agree with the general consensus here, if you've got a bunch of friends over then there's nothing more fun than going 4 or 5 rounds in some Fight Night!

yeah i agree, rpgs are far more addictive than fighting games but where gamers are a lot, fighting games are more challenging and therefore addictive as well

I like both but I really prefer RPGs more. Fighting games are fun, but I think RPGs are more challenging and addictive :D

I think that RPGs will never get old, however, fighting games get old after a few play throughs. I don't often have people that will play them with me, so that's anotgher reason.

it depends on the person playing the game really. say you like challenges and puzzles then rpgs r for u. but if u like to just beat the living daylight out of sum1 and hate having to do the same thing over and over (e.g. getting exp) that gets boring its fighting all the way.for me im mixed. i love story lines and puzzles and trying to get a high lvl but i also like to fight and beat up ppl in games.so i get games like KH which has both
