If you wanna talk about a anime that was finished then i say FLCL which had a bout 12 eposoides i think or if u say a anime that was caneled then piolet candidates where it only had about 5 eposoides i think

well vanguard is a 2 part series so it has 26 episodes in total. for me, elfen lied was the shortest:13I think it was called Vanguard or something starting with a V. Its about men and women living on seperate planets and one guy comes in contact with women. Anyway it was 13 episodes.

Yeah that was one messed up anime. I believe it was more like puni puni poemi at least in the pronounciation...two eps now thats pretty short. I think I may have seen one that was only one episode... No idea what it might have been called though.This really retarded anime called Puni puni poyami I think it was just an hour long.

The shortest anime ive seen was Bandit king Jing. I hear he has a second season but other than that just 13 episodes. Hey redrumsam, I saw that anime, its called Vandread.

Woah, that's Pathetic... I wouldn't buy that, it's not worth it!!!King of Fighters: Another day.even though it's not finished yet, it supposedly has 4 episodes 9 minutes each.But the credits itself are 4 minutes, and the actual animation is 4 minutes long.
The shortest anime I've seen is FLCL... I thought it'd be the shortest, sadly, I was proven Horribly wrong by King of Fighters: Another day... *snaps fingers*

That's an Ova (anime that resembles a movie) of course it's only 3 eps.The shortest would be Smash Hit8 eps 13m averageangel sanctuary lol 3 episodes hhahahhealsing which is 13 episodes

Shortest one éh?Well that would be Howls Moving Castle, the entire serie had 2 episodes, and each episode lasted about 1 hour. Which is a total of 2 hours

Ho-hum, I think Daikon III probably wins. Both episodes amount to less than ten minutes screen time. But if you mean a real anime, FLCL? It's only six episodes.

FLCL, only 6 episodes. It's something I will never understand, and it makes no sense to me. It was interesting though...
