FLCL is the shortest I've seen personally. Which is criminal, considering how great it is.

FLCL was the shortest i have seen. The next shortest would be hellsing at 13 episodes.

FLCL is the shortest of them of all. I hated it.Rockman.exe Beast+ was 26 episode, all of them were about 10 mins long.

I'v watched Hellsing 13 episodes and Ergo Proxy 23 episodes, those where the shortest I'v watched.

Psychic Academy. It was 13 episodes, but they were only ten minutes long each. I still have no clue what the point to it was.

I would have to say cardcapture. I only saw 10 eps. I stopped watching it for awhile and then when i had time the show was off air!!

It would have to be Blood: the Last Vampire, even though it may be classified as a movie, it seemed way too short and though good, seemed somewhat unfinished, which is disappointing.Otherwise, various OVAs like RoD, and FLCL (insane and awesome, who hasn't wanted to hit people with a guitar??).

there was one that i watched don't remember the name it has 13 episodes of 7:30 minutes i only remember that he was in loved of a teacher but hiss bosses daugther was in loved with him so u can guess how it proceeds

I think Fruits Basket is the shortest anime I've seen, with 26 episodes, I wish there were more episodes.

FLCL six episodes. I've watched them all three times each and it takes a while but they do kinda make sense the more you watch them.

hmmmmmm... that would be Fooly Cooly, hands down. only six episodes.Also, Deltora Quest isn't completed yet, I think they're five episodes out.

the shortest anime i've ever saw was "Kanojo to kanojo no neko" (She and her cat) from Makoto Shinkai.The anime makes 5 minutes.

Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo. It only has four episodes and the whole story is pretty crammed up (in a good way tho). Although it's kinda sad to see Neo Getter in only 2 and a half episodes.
