i read ur forum about the best RPG ever and i think FF11 will and always will be the best RPG. Im getting it for this Christmas and im goin to start im Bastok. I liked Chrono Trigger / Chrono Cross, but I also thought Xenogears was fantastic (all for the PS or PS2). The new RPGs that have come out lately don't seem to have the same involving story and characters that the old ones did.But then again I haven't tried out all your suggestions.

i dont play RPG often , after i play FF7 and alot old snes rpg game. Because nowadays RPG wont fit on me.i play it and become want to hack it and make it lvl faster. cannot control it . XD Best RPG game : FF7 , FF6 , Chrono Trigger ( Chrono Cross completely Su**s XD ) , Terranigma and MysticArk

MMO's: World of Warcraft rules allRPG's in general: It's between Neverwinter and MorrowindOf course none of it matters after Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion comes out and smokes the competition. I dare a developer to come out with something of better quality as Bethesda. Of course if they did, we would all be very happy because we'd all have some really sweet games to play, lol.Oh yeah, Diablo's too repetitive, FF is a console original, and if anyone missed saying KotOR (I didn't read the whole thread) it's alos a good one, however an X-Box original.

NWN is great, even though its pretty old. You can create your own aventure campaigns and let other players around the globe play em with you. But recently, peoples creativity is running pretty low...

Final Fantasy VII is probably going to remain my favourite RPG, and one of my favourite games in general, for a very long time.
