my favorite pc rpgs are final fantasy 7 and the star wars: knights of the old republic games, i know they weren't originally computer games, but I've played them on the computer, and so far they're my favorite rpgs for the computer

I like all good RPG's for PC and ROMS but more the old ones :(PC - Neverwinter, Bulder's Gate, Dark Stone, Dungeon Siege, Diablos', ShadowFlares', Summoner, Fable: The Lost Chapters.ROMS - Shining Force and Phantasy Star.

NWN 2 is my favourite cause the graphics was awesome, too bad the story didn't as good as NWN: HoTU and SoU

Diablo 2 i would say is the best.As for neverwinter nights I think it is crap. I always hear people saying that it is this great game and it always makes me wonder are we talking about the same neverwinter nights because it is one game i can't stand to play.

Am I the only one here who's played Planescape Torment? Regardless, in terms of storytelling and the story told, it blows many other RPGs out of the water. NWN was good, but it was very hack and slash, with no real meaning other then blowing stuff up. NWN2 does a lto better job at storytelling itself as well as letting you customize your character more.

i like final fantasy series... diablo... anito.... what else GTA san Andreas... i also like resident evil but all and all Final Fantasy VII and Crono Trigger is my favorite rpg ever...

Neverwinter nights rocks. But FF7 still takes the cake, the aerith death scene was rated as one of the 10 most memorable game moments of all time(how can you beat that?).

Elder Scrolls 4. Hands down the greatest rpg i have ever played on any system, let it be PC, 360, PS3 or whatever (available for all three). I also love Fable, but thats only Xbox.

I highly, highly recommend The Witcher. It's kinda grindy, reminiscent of an MMORPG (yet it's single player), and has an excellently complex alchemy system.
