Fallout 1 and 2, Morrowind, and Sacred would be my choices. I would say Diablo 2 also, but that�s more a hack and slash dungeon crawler than anything else.

Baldur's gate 2 for sure! Graphics are excellent for a 2d game.For some reason I just can't get into Morrowind.

Originally I would have said one of the FF games, but I find they get too much hype and are over-rated. So i'll go with the 2 Golden Sun games because they were well made and everything (storywise) came together in the end. The gameplay was amazing, the puzzles were challenging (even on 2nd AND 3rd plays through the game) the graphics were pretty good for a GBA, and the spells and attacks were flashy even for the cheapest moves.
