I'm just glad they moved the power button. I've accidentally turned the thing off so many times when my thumb slid off the D-pad while holding up. The worst was when I had just caught my first tuna in Animal Crossing. Haven't caught one since, although it was only 2 days ago...

As long as there hasn't been a hardware change I'm content with my DS! But, in a heart beat Iwould trade it in for a thinner one!

Probably a good idea as the one thing the current DS suffers from is that it looks old. This new slimer version will give it a modern sexy look.

Am I the only one who is having a double-take here? I mean, the size was a bother but it was not exactly my top complaint about the system from a hardware design perspective.First of all, how about some sexy curves? I know it would've made it look more like the PSP and I don't want Nintendo to copy Sony. I just think the boxed edges and the tons of wasted surface area (c'mon, look at how much area is on the DS that has nothing on it) and I just think they could've made the redesign look better. Also, how about an analog nub? Let's make 3D action gaming a bit more viable! It wouldn't have to invalidate the old system - it would just bring a new option to the table. 3D action gaming is too hard on the touch screen and too restrictive on the D-Pad.

I'm not sure if anyone else has said it... but I'm going to say it.It looks like an iNDS.... if you know what I mean.I guess smaller size is nice and all, but look at that other smaller handheld they released, I can't even remember the name of it. I'm not sure if it's going to be so great, but at least they're innovating.

I thnik i'll be buying one, but i don't want a silver one. I'll keep my old nds , so i can use my supercard and get the newer "lite" version for all my originals, as long as they do a charcoal version! I don't think nintendo will release the nds lite in europe for a while though. <3

Don't know why anyone would want a smaller DS. The current one is too small for my hands. Can't play it for more than 20 min at a time without my hands cramping up. The last thing I'd want is a smaller one.

It's a fake

Are you stupid? It's not a god damn fake! There have been articles all over the place. How can you all be complaining? This is a great move by Nintendo. I mean come on. Better and brighter screens. Smaller and lighter. Still plays GBA games. It's great. Might be tempted to get one.
