Personally, I look for replayability. If I'm just gonna beat a game, then forget about it, why buy it? But story is good too, and features. But what all do you people like?

I believe a game needs a good story (as well as well-made characters) in order to stick me to the couch playing it and feel like i'm really in the game. That's what drives me!!

That's important, I get your point. I'me just saying that while a good story can make or break a game, if I'm only playing it once, why bother? But I get your point. Very good point. :)

I look for 2 things. The graphics and the replayability. I want a game that I can play over and over again and have fun with it. And its gotta have nice graphics to go with it.

I like games whit mini and side games that you can play even after beating the game a perfect example is Sonic adventure 2 battle, i dam love that game, even if you beat the game you can go through the missions or beat in dark or hero mode adn the Chao garden :( and the mini games for two players, thats the perfect kind of game for my, or a good rpg XP

Genre and rating. Don't want to play a game that is aimed for kids.

If you have a new generation console you have to look for graphics but personally i look on graphics but on games with good storyline but first must have good playability.Like Smash Brothers wich was simpe in graphics and storyline but was very enjoyable.

good graphics would be the 1st criteria for meof coz, things like replayability and gameplay is important, but sumtimes i get too bored and give up, so seeing nice pics as a reward really gets me the urge to continue

Replayability, with graphics as second for me.If you beat it once then don't touch it again, it wasn't worth the money you paid for it (especially if it was a ROM, which you got for free. Then it wasn't worth anything.) o.O
