I like them both, really.Sega had Phantasy Star, and Sonic, and a few other things, like doom 32X. Buuuuut, we also have to look at other things that nintendo hat; Of course, a lot would say "finalfantasyroxorz mai soXorZbbq", but that's like... well for lack of better term, riding on a bandwagon. Look at other things. I LOVED super scope. Only few games were made for it's use, but they were good. Then, We gotta look at another of Sega's achievements; Virtua Fighter. 'Nuff said. I'd say it'a all a matter of pros and cons, and which one rubs you the right way.

I have never played the sega console, but i think it was the best choise of sega to become a game producer rather than a console maker

Well my first console was the Sega MegaDrive 2 but then my next one was N64 then i got a Ps then a Gameboy Colour then Xbox then Nintendo DS then Xbox 360. So out of Sega and Nintendo I'd say Nintendo 'cos i love my DS, despite Sega introducing me to the gaming world.

They both have their strong points: Nintendo's been around forever supporting good console technology and designs with a combination of games loved by the masses of all ages. And Sega has original and bold game designs that maximize the fun, they know what people like to play but the consoles are....well I guess there pretty good to. Sega would still be up there if they weren't so stupid on the release date of the dreamcast. so now they've been demoted to just a gaming company.

nintendo here, mainly because sega screwed me over with phantasy star online, but other then that, they're about the same
