I've been looking forward to MM X: MH as well, having played all the MM X's except 7 and 8, I enjoyed them all. I'm sure CapCom couldn't do anything to screw up MM X too much, and hopefully made it better in some ways.

MegaMan: Maverick Hunter X is actually a very well-made game. My only gripe is the same problem I have with all MegaMan games -- the difficulty is just too much. I can always defeat all of the original 8 bosses, but once I get to Wily/Sigma's castle, I always choke. Anyways, if you are a fan of nonstop, pure action be sure to pick up this title. Just being able to see the "Day of Sigma" movie is worth it alone.

difficulty too high? how ya figure? it was easy for the most part, and I seem to do better on the fial bosses than I do on the 8 original bosses.MegaMan: Maverick Hunter X is actually a very well-made game. I played the original version on the snes and i'd much rather play this version, its got better graphics and its gameplay is pretty tight also theres jus something about playing mmx on a handheld that i love, there's also a vile mode but i don't think its that much of a big deal .*ps* mm powered up is another great game get that 2.

Is Maverick Hunter X (MHX) better than MM X 8?They are made from the same engine so I can't tell plus I never played MHX.

MHX is just the first Mega Man X game on the Snes with extra things added to it, First check out the rom for the snes version if you like it then get it. X8 just have more character to play from.I've never play MHX because I already play it on the snes and don't really care about the vile mode and the animation extra.

In my opinion, MHX is probably better than MMX8, due to the improved graphics (and the Vile scenario!).

Naw, even though I haven't played Maverick Hunter X I think I would still like X 8 better because the Armor was just awsome!

mhx was awesome(especially vile, whos esier than x no matter what anyone says. didn't need subtanks till final boss

I enjoyed the game to the point that I had to beat it on hard mode. And when you have Zero's buster that is no real problem.

I also think MHX is better than MMX8. I liked X8, but MHX beats it.

Both games are excellent. I've beaten each of them several times(4 for MHX and at least 4 for X8). I think I like X8 better, mostly because I prefer console games for some reason.

I had to get this game, I really enjoy the megaman franchise (except for BN) I mean this is a remake of the game that introduced X and Zero to the world...I'm sorry but my hands were tied I had to get this game there was no choice too make.

mhx is way better than mmx8, it almost feels like a different game from the snes, and the adition of vile is such a nice touch

I think MHX is way better than X8...but then again I thought 8 was rubbish to begin with. And Jurai...yea, I like the graphics in MHX a lot...but I agree with what you said about them looking "more like robots".
