No doubt, Paper Mario is one of the best RPG's, period. Maybe not in terms of story (like FF games), but it's one of the most fun to play, it's smart with some laugh-out-loud moments, and there's no random battles (which are one of the worst inventions in gaming history).

Mystical Ninja was aweosme (the songs were great!), so was Mega Man 64.Id say the RPG with the most potential was Quest 64. Its still fun especially with the level up system but it was missing a LOT for it to feel complete and great,

thatīs not the reason. In a tipical RPG the turns for the attack was changing. But in Zelda you have a sword and attack the enemy until it dies or something other happens. Now I hope, there was no one who says, Zelda was an RPG, but when somebody thing so, then let him think.

I liked Gauntlet Legends, but I don't think that was really an RPG. It's what I'm saving up for now, though.
