Paper Mario was an amazing game, I can hardly remember any RPGs that have been as good as this one

Paper Mario is hands down the best RPG for N64. But its not lik there was any competition. To all those that say Zelda does count, IT DOESNT!!! Its not an RPG. Zelda is a great game but it is not in the RPG Category. It is in Action Adventure cat.

My fav would be mystical ninja starriing goemon and ogrbattle 64,since zelda doesnt count (>_>),and paper mario would come in a desent second.

Has someone played Quake 64?? I think that was a good rpg. Of course after Zelda and paper mario.

i kinda liked quest 64 and aiden chronicles, even though they werent very good. sadly, the 64 wasent really an rpg system

Not like the 64 had many RPG's, Mario 64 is a platformer and Zelda is more of an RPG/Adventure game.Guess I'll go with Paper Mario since it's the only one I remember playing.

Conkers Bad Fur Day, it was really fun an dlasted a long time, with none of those cheap long tricks that many rpgs like to use.

(the system was very lacking in the genre)Shadowgate: tolerable; nothing to go yipee aboutAidyn: don't touch that piece of crapPaper Mario: decent, and if you like Super Mario RPG you would probably like this too, they're similarOgre Battle: pretty good, worth a goQuest: no no no! Throw it away if you come in contact with it.I would assume that Castlevania, Goemon, and Zelda do not count, but I would probably prefer their games over the RPGs on this system...Geez, this system really sucked for RPGs. =\ Imagine if Square had made that contract with Nintendo instead of Sony though... I mean, they had a 3D remake of FF6 planned for N64! Then Nintendo had to turn their backs to Square... jerks.
