Mega Man.Mario's cool and all, but Mega Man could totally kick his butt pretty much any time.I absolutely love the Mega Man X games (at least, the first five). The series was SUPPOSED to stop after 5, but Capcom decided to milk it for all it's worth, and now the storyline has been shot to pieces. But the first five are still golden.

Megaman has a lot of variety, and being able to use multiple types of weapons has always looked good to me. Plus the design of the Battle Network series has a lot of appeal.But Mario is like an uncle in gaming for me. I can still remember myself as a little kid sitting in front of my TV with my trusted NES, with the big cartridge in it, playing Mario Bros.Mario's just awesome.

Megaman rocks!!! 
I have either played or own everyone of his and his partners games. My favorite megaman series is the megaman battle network series for the gba. But i have to admit the megaman x series lost it all.

Mario because I just never got into megaman. I played Mario first and loved it so my vote goes to Mario.

mario was one of the first and greatest nintendo heroes, mega man is just a wuss he was to use weapons, mario would just jump on there heads and say good bye

I think that mario is better than megaman...really, i never had play a megaman game...i don´t like them

I luv both of them but im gonna have to go with mario cuz the games are longer and more enjoyable for all ages of people.

I simply chose Mario because I had most of his games then MegaMan, and that is a good enough reason for me. B)

if this was a few years back I would have voted Megaman, but I voted Mario. why? because capcom has exploited megaman. they are trying to hard and pushing to hard to sell anything and everything that has to do with Megaman. I believe this to be megamans Downfall. Mario. still sweet and inoncent. hasn't once tried to brain wash children into buying his merchandise. sure he is a sweet seller for Nintendo. but that's only because his games are enjoyable. not because his face has been plastered over millions of products for sell.Mario will live on far after Megamans Death.
