Yeah really bad poll, they're all nintendo heroes. Bring out some underground heroes! For me, Justin a nd Ryudo from Grandia a nd II a re excellent heroes.

Solid Snake is my favorite hero. He's the personification of complete badassness. Big Boss is pretty cool, too. A non-MGS hero would have to be Hector or Lyn from Fire Emblem. They were the real stars of the show, Eliwood can go die in a hole somewhere, useless "I'm gonna get screwed over by RNG every single time I play the game" bugger.

The hero, Jack, from Radiata Stories because at least he had attitude and personality. I don't want to demean other folks but how could Mario or Link be your favorite hero when they are completely and totally devoid of personality? Yes, they star in some great games so they don't NEED personality but you could replace Mario or Link with some other hero in any of those games and you'd never know the difference.Stevo
