Super Smash Bros. definitely, Mario Party has gotten... how do you say, dull over the years, albeit it being enjoyable at the start of the series. Super Smash Bros was more enjoyable and only had 1 sequel (not including the upcoming Brawl!) So Smash Bros for the DS would make more sense. You'd make more money with more people buying.. But that's my opinion. (I don't know how popular Mario Party is elsewhere...)

They would both be pretty cool. However, i don't think SSB would fit on the screens. Everyone would be too small to see.I think the capabilities of the DS would match very well with Mario Party though, with the touch function and whatnot.

It would be cool for an SSB to be on DS, but then again I would rather just play it on the Wii. So I guess Mario Party would be better and would take full advantage of the touch screen, what with it's various mini games.

Smash Bros, hands down. Besides, they already have Mario Party for the GBA. I hear it's not all that.

No matter what, Smash Bros. First, no Zelda characters, no Samus, no Fire Emblem characters, no Pokemon characters, and no events where Peach and Daisy really try to have a cat fight ^_^ .Not only that, but I admit, when Mario Party first came out, I thought, "Hey maybe this is alright." However, you know they are DEFINITELY overdoing it when they pass making five games based off of it, let alone seven.btw, when did they make a Mario Party for the GBA? I've didn't hear that before. :o

Super Smash Brothers! What kind of question is that? It lasts for YEARS! I can honestly say this because I bought it in 2001 and I'm still playing it.

IŽd prefer Smash Bros. It needs a remake for DS, with downloadable characters.

From a purely game based standpoint, I'd say smash brothers, but really, think about it. "Directional Pad". How long could you use that thing in a chaotic and ultra fast paced situation as is the norm in smash brothers without your left thumb falling off? Sure, you could use the thumbstrap on the touchscreen, but considering the uses that the directional movements are put in smash brothers, that would be far too awkward. In my opinion, as far as smash brothers is concerned, it's a joystick or nothing, and there's no joystick on a DS, nor do I think there will ever be on a handheld barring some interesting design techniques. Mario Party is much more practical.

Smash Bros all the way, it would be so cool! I considered Mario Party, but if you think about it, the games would be too long!
