I'd choose Smash Bros. Mario Party seems boring to me. I only played the first game a lot because I wanted to get 100 stars but I stopped playing them after renting the 2nd and 3rd game.

I choose Mario Party because i think it will be more adapted with the Touch screen, but a super smash bros could be awsome too!

Super smasb bros ds would be so much more fun beacue of the wifi compatibility and the touch screen which would allow 2 control types.

I would have to say SSMB because its enjoyabe and your not limited to just characters from the Mario Unervirse all its more favorable

Smash Brothers all the way...It's my all time favorite non-RPG game...Much better than Mario Party in my opinion...Peace...

Smash Bros. Definitely. Mario party is good, but repetetive, and Smash Bros. is fun by urself, MP needs a lot of people

SSBM hands down definetely. mario party gets horrendously boring after a while. but if u have skilled friends in smash its so much more fun

just to tell you right now there is a mario party coming out for ds but i heard its not gonna be as fun as its predecessorswho knowsI LOVE SUPER SMASH BROTHERS IF THEY GET A DS VERSION ILL DEFINITELY BUY OR DOWNLOAD IT
