Yes I do play on a laptop, but I prefer a desktop. The desktop computers have so much more power. More RAM, more memory almost more of everything except mobility. A laptop will suffice because I don't have a computer near the tv so its nice being on the computer while watching something on tv, Or when I go outside around my yard.

I tried playing games on my laptop. Not even taking to account that my desktop is a super gaming machine, I don't like using the touch pad on the laptop and the keyboard is too small! I need my desktop! I :weep: my desktop!

Yes. This is my 2nd laptop, and I am still glad I moved to these from the normal PC's. Of course not as good to play games on, but I like the general ability to move with this, and easy to use as well. And it plays the games I want, which is a good bonus.

Everyone tells me not to bother, but I generally buy my laptop for gaming, haha. It's just a case of being able to play on either desktop or laptop whenever I want. :D

I use to use my laptop, but since getting the desktop, my laptop has just been used for talking to people.

I know more about desktops than I do about laptops, so I generally stick with what I know. That's not to say that I will never game with a Laptop, it is just that my current financial situation puts the idea of that into a great amount of doubt. In other words, I am too poor to buy a gaming laptop that would satisfy me.

I use my new asus laptop for gaming as i dont have a desktop pc. but i like laptops because they are portable. still pretty decent with an actual decent amd radeon graphics card. laptops are getting better so sticking with this beast of a laptop for now.

not by choice, but by necessity.  My laptop has more power than my desktop which has no online drivers or connection to the internet... let alone any security software.  Who needs security when you aren't online. ^^;

The biggest spoiler ever for Final Fantasy. Don't read it unless you played them all. You will regret if you read it.

I just got a labtop about 1 month ago. I do work on it mostly now for college and i actually like using a labtop. I thought i would never get or use one but i actually dont mind having one. Of course a desktop is more suited for intensive gaming but i dont really play any up to date games so my labtop can handle the games i play. i also use a usb mouse and keyboard with my labtop. So i have different option of what i want to do either use labtop to type and move or keyboard and mouse.

I used to game on a laptop many years back, but then it broke and I couldn't afford a new one. I end up just building better desktop systems to play games on. Between my home and work machines, I never have much of a need for portable computing, but I bought a netbook on sale during Black Friday 2011 and it's solved most of my portable computing needs. I do want to buy a GOOD laptop though some day.

Jup, mine handles most games pretty well. Best thing about pulling very high fps? You can set games to vsync and the computer goes quiet.
