not by choice, but by necessity. My laptop has more power than my desktop which has no online drivers or connection to the internet... let alone any security software. Who needs security when you aren't online. ^^;

I seldom play on my laptop but occasionally in school when playing with friends.

I just got a labtop about 1 month ago. I do work on it mostly now for college and i actually like using a labtop. I thought i would never get or use one but i actually dont mind having one. Of course a desktop is more suited for intensive gaming but i dont really play any up to date games so my labtop can handle the games i play. i also use a usb mouse and keyboard with my labtop. So i have different option of what i want to do either use labtop to type and move or keyboard and mouse.

I used to game on a laptop many years back, but then it broke and I couldn't afford a new one. I end up just building better desktop systems to play games on. Between my home and work machines, I never have much of a need for portable computing, but I bought a netbook on sale during Black Friday 2011 and it's solved most of my portable computing needs. I do want to buy a GOOD laptop though some day.

Jup, mine handles most games pretty well. Best thing about pulling very high fps? You can set games to vsync and the computer goes quiet.
