I used to, but since it was on loan from my school, I had to give it back when I was done, so now I'm back to a desktop computer...

I don't simply because I've never had a laptop with the processing power to game. I'm running a gaming PC for the purposes of gaming of course.

I've learned to make do with what I have and make the most of it. My computer is pretty old, but as long as it works, I'll play on it.

Nothing to do with a laptop and you already posted in here (2 above, same day)

I play a few games on my laptop. I like having smaller games like Defence Grid installed just in case I want to play anything, and no mouse needed! Just the keyboard is enough.

I played most of my pokemon games on this laptop which I am currently using to write my post. It may not be a power house, I enjoy its portability which allows me to enjoy my little games almost anywhere I go.

I don't even have a desktop; the kind of games I play work fine on my laptop, so why bother with a bigger, heavier computer?

I play on a desktop because my old laptop couldn't handle the game speed ![]()
But my brother bought a laptop that's for gaming specifically ![]()

Well, yes. Even though this laptop is not as powerful as I would want it to, it's just as efficient as I need it, so it gives me the possibility to play some emulations and such, and its design is very comfortable to play with, as well.

Laptops are not powerful enough for games. Well to have the good ones anyways it costs way too much and is not cost effective.
I just build my desktop 3 weeks ago for about 400$.
Running an i5. 8GB DDR3 RAM. 7870 HD Graphics card.
You are better off just getting a desktop/building one as oppose to a laptop. they overheat too much/easily.

Laptops may not be upgradable, but they're still able to hold their own with desktops if they're new - provided, that is, that ypu ignore Oscar Wilde's maxim, "If something's worth doing, it's worth doing to excess", and only play moderately sophisticated games.

I play on a laptop (Alienware M14x), but I'm thinking about switching over to a PC.

Yup, it's the only computer I have right now but it runs alright with 2D games only.

Yep, I only gamed on my laptop before I built my desktop. It is a pretty decent laptop, although Intel HD graphics aren't the best for gaming.

Laptops simply don't run games as well as desktops do.
