My laptop is the the latest and greatest.. not even close but I do use it to play games that are not 3D games.. I would like to get a laptop that can play 3D games but they are just too pricey.

I couldn't game on my laptop even if I wanted to for 2 reasons.1. It's a PIII 500Mhz with 128MB RAM2. The OS got corrupt, and my CD-ROM drive is dead, so I can't reload one.

Hmmm.... maybe laptops werent able to run modern games few years ago, but dude, we are living in 2006. Laptops with dual core and stuff are as powerfull as desktops nowadays

I have had a laptop for well over a year now, I play a few games on it but only to occupy myself when bored. But laptos are simply not meant for gaming, it's true you can buy something that is of decent quality to play games, but it usually comes up to twice the price of a desktop equivalent to it.

Na'h, i was thinking of getting a lap top, but it's hard to play any game on it, i don't like the feel and i like how my monitor is a 19' lcd, . Also buying all the attachments for a laptop, grr.

Yes, it's quite handy when on holidays, but for graphically intense games I use my desktop PC.

I have a laptop, but the only games that are really playable with the cramped keyboard and touchpad are quick flash games or games which need no reflexes at all, like civ

I play on a laptop, yea. But there is a problem with that. The newest laptops can play some of the demanding games, but after a year or so, the laptop becomes out-of-date. To me, a good idea would be to have both a desktop and a laptop. That way you will be able to upgrade your PC as new parts come, and the laptop will still be handy for work or other tasks.
