Its been said before.. many times.. games on discs (PS1, PS2, Xbox, etc) come in ISO files, not roms. Only games with cartridges are roms.

The iso files for Xbox games are usually 1-2.5 gigabytes each, so yeah they are pretty big

Quite a bit bigger than that anymore, aren't they? I'm seeing many over 4.7 Gigs. At least we have ways to find which files can be removed safely.

Really? I thought a DVD disc could only hold like 2.4 gigs or something?

DVD recordable discs hold 4.7Gb, which is much less per side than a stamped, store purchased DVD. And that's not getting into dual-layered double-sided discs. However, I guess there are DVD recordable discs out now that are double-sided. . .woudn't help much for a game, as it won't let you flip the disc, but. . .great for data storage

Yes there are ps2 emu's and iso'sbut the commercial games well some only work at 30% while others don't work at all.Same for the xbox although Halo is fully compaible. You can burn the iso's using a CD-RW because xbox doesn't read CD-R (thats what i heard) and/or just use a DVD-R

I heard u can but u have to take out alot of cut scenes from the game to get them on the CD-Rs. Another way would be to overburn but that can cause problems.

its possable but most people wont take that effert and burn the DVDs and if your gonna take the steps to put a mod chip in why don't you just put evoX in and rip all the games stight to the HDD and not worry about copying games.

if you download the right mod and the right ISO files, then alost any copied X-Box game works. But I still prefer PS3 with originals, since you would still need to buy mic's for singstar and guitars for guitar hero 3
