People like Halo more because of the live option, and because of the gameplay. Halo has given a new dimension to FPS, more tactical gameplay, even in campaign is necessary, all weapons have it's use and they are well thought out, great graphics, great storyline, it just has everything you need in a good FPS.

Honestly, they're two different games. You can't compare them. A third person sandbox game vs. a linear FPS? I think not. But I prefer Halo.

halo. its possibly the best sci-fi shooter i've playedfun single player andwicked multiplayer...grand theft auto is fun, but there's no multiplayer option

Halo! I like it because of its sleek presentation and storyline. GTA on the other hand... I've been trying to stay away from it so I guess Halo kinda wins me over by default. Heh.

grand theft auto is better for playing alone while halo kicks its donkey in multiplayer

Considering they are both completely different it's a hard choice because I like Halo and GTA both a lot but I'd have to go with GTA.

I choose Gta instead. Halo is also a great game but can be a little tough in the storyline

pffft GTA of coursefor one, it actually has a storyline that actually makes sense.Also, you get to watch girls strip. And more blood. And a lot more things to do. And theres more ways to kill people.

These are 2 completely different games, but I really like Halo and I really hate gta, so that makes my choice easy

i have played both games on a regular basis and from my opion i feel that there is more game play rather than in halo its just shoot em ups really but with GTA you can ecape to liberty city or san andreas by yourself but with halo its more of a lan or internet game.

I like Halo 1 & 2 much better then I like GTA, solo campaign and multiplayer. There is only 1 game that did better then halo for me, and that is TES III: Morrowind and I haven't played TES IV : Oblivion yet

I can't believe Halo got a single vote in this poll... Halo is nothing but a nice shooter. GTA is in a class of it's own! There is no other game in history that gives you as much freedom as the GTA series, and they only keep getting better. Not to mention they have great plots too, which is rare these days.
