You're being sarcastic right? This is a ROM site. biggrin.gifanyways, I'd love to download it...but my firmware is too high. sad.gif

No, I'm not being sarcastic. I'm all up for continued development of great PSP software and pirating definietly hurts that. And gosh, this is a Forum technically, not the actual rom site.

haha Emulation doesn't hinder the production of the software, sony just upgrades security because they want our money. I enjoy using their hardware device which I payed too much for as is, not to mention a memory card that HAD to be Sony. So I think they have gotten enough out of me.

U can import it from herehttp://shop.gameplay...ductcode=PP0140orhttp://www.dvdcrave....t.jsp?pid=24338 This one is only $47.07 USD

YAY!!!I LOVE THAT GAME!!but is it worth the import?

It is so worth it. I've been playing it for like 3-4 hours a day, 2 weeks later, I'm still trying to beat it. Yeah I know I'm slow, but I've never play this for the psx, so chill out.I've heard somewhere that they didn't release the US version first is that the sale of the Tale of Destiny II for the psx didn't do so good. Maybe thats y, I not sure.

When did I say that emulation hindered the production of software? I said that pirating the game by downloading it and loading it with a ISO loader hurts production as they're not recieving the profits. Also, you can buy SanDisk brand cards you know, it doesn't have to be Sony. Also, Sony doesn't make any money off PSP sales, they in fact lose money on every PSP sold. And just how does upgrading your firmware get Sony money? Unless you've been pirating games, how would they get anymore money? Does a web browser get Sony anymore money? No. Does adding better video codec support and .wma support get Sony anymore money? No. Does adding more language sets for broader compatiblity get Sony anymore money? No. Does adding Location Free support get Sony anymore money? Not if people don't buy a Location Free device (though I'll love Sony if they make a PS3 also be a Location Free device as well). And yes, emulation DOES hinder the production of software. If people arn't using the PSP how it was truely ment to be used, to play bought games, then obviously the customers arn't buying those games right? If not as much people buy the games made for the PSP, then the potential market drops. If the potential consumer market drops, then developing more software for the PSP looks more bleak and pointless so less developers might develop for the PSP. If less software is developed for the PSP, then the PSP becomes less appealing to potential consumers not interested in Emulation. If less people buy PSPs, then the potential market space gets limited with less growth which would kill off even more developer support. Now, a couple thousand PSP owners using their PSPs for emulation isn't actually going to cause the death of the PSP, but yes, it does indeed hurt production of software. Gets your facts straight before you post.

That's a load of crap. People have fully emulated and pirted the GBA and their production hasn't been hindered their profit margin nor has their production of software. The DS is out and they're still pumping out GBA games. The DS is fully pirated is well. Why do you think they offer the ROMs for downlaod on this site? There are no emus yet. Think about it.You have a personal grudge against get things for free? You can be valient and support a multi-billion dollar company all you'd like. I'm not gonna fall into their marketing scheme. How about this thread, tales of eternia...not even released in the US. So now what, I have to import because Sony decided it wouldn't sell in the US? Thats a load of crap. These big wigs don't know what the gamers want and if you look at how horrible sony is handling the PSP market you'd agree. They're losing all their UMD hollywood releases because UMDs are dumb, just like the mini disc...sony will never learn. Buy a memory stick, download the movie and put it on. That is how everyone is doing it. I'm not going to buy into their crap just because they are horrible at marketing. The bottom line is the average PSP owner doesn't know about modding and hacking. Most of the people I know with PSPs have never heard of it nor are willing to try it. So us 15% of PSP owners that know how to mod our PSPs are gonna get free games. I don't know about you, but I'm not rich and I don't have money to throw around....I'm also not going to miss out on an amazing handheld just because I'm poor.

No, YOU'RE a load of crap. Just becuase you have little money to spend and do it anyway doesn't mean you're right. Pirating DOES hinder profits. GET THAT IN YOUR TINY HEAD. Now of course the amount of people that pirate games is only a very small percentage so the amount of profits lost isn't anywhere enough to kill off a system but profit is still indeed LOST. UNDERSTAND? And did anyone tell you that you HAVE to import games? Of course not! It's your own choice to import or not, it's your decision to make. Publishing a game takes a hefty investment, of course games are not going to be released everywhere. I don't have a personal grudge against getting things for free, I just support the North American PSP Software Industry so that more games DO get published in the states. So that people don't have to import just to play a good game. GOT IT? But as for Sony doing a poor job marketing the PSP.....yeah its true. It's like the PSP suddenly became Sony's bad stepchild or something. The PSP is hardly getting any attention at all, the US marketing campaign is doing a VERY VERY poor job, I mean what is going on here? Most of the US ads for the PSP I've seen make me HATE the system! I like the UMD format alot and think it still has alot of potential, however what is up with these insane prices for just a movie? Of course it's going to fail at those prices! As for you, if you want to run ISOs, fine, pirate all you want but never ever expect anything from Sony again. You've now got no right to complain about lack of games, bad system, no features, etc.

haha You're missing the point. You're getting fanboy, internet geek on me. I'm not a "gamer". I just enjoy having the PSP with me when I tour. I can't afford to pay for the things I want, so pirating it is easier. If you have a bias against it great. I don't think I am right, but I think I have the right to do so.You and I agree on the PSP marketing. It is crap..I'm glad that was solved. As far as letting me do as I please I will. Pirating does hinder profits...just like when someone walks into best buy and pockets a game. That much. Not enough to halt sales...or production. You need to chill out and stop taking this so serious. It makes you look a bit pathetic.Regardless, we will pirate..we will steal..we will "hinder profits". You can be a pet to sony and pay their fees...but those of us that are smarter will pirate. Deal with it kid.

How is this making me look pathetic? Stealing is wrong plain and simple. Just becuase it's easy to get away with it doesn't make it any less incriminating. Pirating a game is just like stealing a game from a bestbuy, however as you should know, stealing will definetly end up with some jail time (or a ton of community service depending on your judge) and a hefty fine. Getting caught at a bestbuy is much much more likely but it's not any worse than pirating a game. You can say whatever you want to try and comfort yourself and believe that pirating isn't wrong but it IS, and understand that well. It's not the smarter people who pirate, it's the people that just don't care. The smarter people are the ones who keep buying the games and keeping the gaming industry alive so you lousy people can continue pirating. GET THAT STRAIGHT. This isn't a fanboy comment or a bias. It's pure economics plain and simple. Look at what happened with the PS2 in Korea, a large percentage of gamers pirated games, so much that few PS2 games actually get released for the Korean market anymore. Pirating is bad, it hurts the industry. Facing the facts isn't pathetic, it's called using your head and starting to actually look at how the world works.

Does anyone have any good tips on arrangine the greater craymels? I have all 10 and want want keele to have the powerful spells and meredy to heal healing spells. When I tried to arrange it, some of the powerful spells r canceled out. Any help?

My personal favorite Craymel setup:Keele: Celsius, Efreet, Rem, Sekundes, & SylphMeredy: Maxwell, Shadow, Volt, Undine, & GnomePutting Celsius & Volt in this setup lets Keele use Absolute. Keele can also use Explode in this set up. Rem and Maxwell in this setup will also allow Keele to use Holy Lance. Sekundes obviously lets him use Distortion. Sylph & Shadow will also give Keele Cyclone. Just turn summon Rem off so he won't be summoning her when you don't need it.With Meredy, she'll have Meteor Swarm, and since Sekundes is in Keele's CC, she can use Shooting Stars, thus allowing her to use Summon Arche under the right conditions (Maxwell vitality max, use Shooting Stars). she'll also have Heal, as well as Nurse, and obviously Spread (Don't bother with Restore. It's just Nurse in a set spot). She'll also get Resurrection. Putting Celsius in Keele's cage lets Volt give her Indignation. She also gets Dark Force and Bloody Howl. Gnome just gives her Stalagmite and a few support skills. She'll also have Charge, from Volt, but it's useless pretty much. Since all her other attack spells are pretty useless, you'll want her to have Meteor Swarm & Shooting Stars so she can get some good damage in when she's not healing.(You could switch Sylph & Shadow around, to get Blizzard for Keele, but you'll miss out on the best Wind spell if you do that)If I may state my opinion, you don't want to give one of them ALL of the strongest attack spells. Otherwise your battles will go slower than they need too. Celsius will reach Max Vitality frequently in this CC setup as well, since Keele's AI seems to like spamming Freeze Lancer & Absolute. Undine will also get Max Vitality alot because of all the Healing Meredy will be doing. Maxwell won't get Max Vitality a whole lot, but when he does, make sure you ahve a Mental Ring equipped, and take control of Meredy and summon him to do the Dual the Sol extensions. If you're lucky and the enemy lives long enough, you'll be able to pull off the whole thing all the way to Blue Earth. That help any?
