Most of the time, sequels are better. In games sequels usually are harder and have more features than the original.

I'd say games in the same series get worse and worse if you call that a sequel. Like Lunar Dragonsong and Fire Emblem 8, two disappointments. I voted 25% because of GS2.

Working on Knights in the Nightmare. Going to get around to Rondo of Swords. Hoping to find inspiration for Etrian.

Depends on the type of sequel, if its a storyline sequel like Golden Sun its usually as good, but a sequel to make a new story like Advance Wars gets old.

depends, whether they made the sequels as fillers, or to continue the storyline AND make it great ( e.g. GS)

It all depends on the game and the company who is making the sequal. But hers the thing there have been games that have were not bad and then their sequal was even better apparently summon knight 2 for example is going to be offering a few more things than summon knight. However this can also work vise versa.

Sorry, but I always think the first game they make is the best. I'm not a big fan of sequals, just look at what is happening with Final Fantasy. It seems they are stretching it out so much that each game seems to get worse and worse.

sometimes they are and other times, not so much. depends on how the sequel continues from the origanal. if 2 games or movies are half and half, well it'll probably closely alike. if they're totally different, well, it might suck.

wll. it certainly depends on the addictive rating of the first game.. if gamers were addictd to the first then they'd probably think the sequel would be worth getting as well.. like me.. about SummonNight..

It really depends of what game for example the sequel for fire emblem from 2002 and 2003 was great i mean the first had a good story that evolved around the hero on the next fire emblem so in that case the sequel was better the same happens with advance wars 2

i would have to say half half, since some games are good at first and are improved in the next sequel, but most games actually go downhill in their sequel, such as Advance wars 1 and Advance wars 2, i suppose number 1 was more harder and challenging, but advance wars 2 seems easier and is almost the same as the first :P

It really depends on what game the sequal is for. For example, Boktai had a VERY bad sequel.

It just depends on what game ur talking about for example the MMBN sequels were pretty good whereas a lot of other games stink.

It depends on the game and the makers. If they made a good game, they might make another good one too but it might fail when compared to the previous one. So I am half-half.
