too true. i mean it started ok...but then 600+ pokemon, 12 games(Around there)then there's how many seasons of the show? started out ok like everything else but then.... it just went :BOOM: and sucked.The cards? started out huge.. sucked a few months later, just like yu-gi-oh...they are trying to hard to make more profits on pokemon....just went to far

Ok well let's see, if a product doesn't sell, you don't sell it. OBVIOUSLY Pokemon games are still selling, and if you ever read a magzine or website for a game site a week after new pokemon games are released, they are also #1 in sales. Why do they sell? Becuase there are still younger kids who like pokemon. They are the age that we were we we liked it. For some reason some of you don't understand that. They aren't making the games for us anymore, they are making them for the younger generation.

see, thats the thing though. The kids think the whole pokemon thing is great!!!however, it was alot better a long time ago. Why, this afternoon i watched an episode of the new pokemon series. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON!!!!!!!i was sitting there, wondering what kind of crazy pokemon called Chignagoulabustoyish that has 2 butts and walks around hitting people with knives that come out of its eyes....It was better way before they made it too... diffrent.And if the younger generation like that, and when im 69 and they still have pokemon and theres over 6000+ pokemon... then im just gonna start hating that damned generation!!!!Why do they sell? I hate DBZ.Your point?However, I also dislike Pokemon. Yet, I think it's a better anime.Let's sum up DBZs plot. The 1st Pokémon games were actually pretty good... as games.But I don't like the anime as much, it was origionally only supposed to advertise the 1st 2 games anyway... sadly it did so well.I don't collect the card game either, but it is made by the World's greatest game makers, wizards o/the coast.Pokémon became a craze, because there are just so many products out there that advertise it, but that still doesn't give 1 person to degrade Every Product of it.

Somebody has mentioned this before, but I think I should repeat it.Look duders, the Pokemon Anime isnt for you teenagers. It's for young kids. It's just like the way you talk about Barney, ITS SO CHILDISH, but it's because it's for young kids. The games... Well, I personally like playing Netbattle on the computer, but the GBA games are pretty fine, just too predictable. The cards sucked after Nintendo took over, hands down.So, god no, stop dissing Pokemon. They aren't as bad as they look.

Hey, the original pokemon games were GOOD. I remember being at the zoo, and playing nothing but pokemon blue. I don't remember ANY of the animals that I saw there, the game was that good.It was my dad's company picnic......But now, the games are just old and boring.

Well, the series sucks badly, though the games are really enjoyable. Too bad that every game comes out twice(red-blue, gold-silver, ruby-sapphire). They're basically the same thing. It's just some crappy marketing scheme, to force people to buy the game twice because otherwise they wouldn't be able to finish it.

The Pokémon games are not only for little kids. Its for everyone who likes to catch and train monsters, and then Battle with them. But I dont think the world needs anymore Pokémon games. I still like them, but if nintendo adds another 100 new pokémon

I agree.The anime is a bit childish yes, but I think the overall game is quite okay - a reason why it is popular in the first place.Also, what about Digimon?
