I use them all the time, almost never using the game's actual save capabilities. I dunno, I just do, I don't use cheat codes, but I do sometimes use save states to abuse random chances, like slot machines in games to ensure I win, or like attacks to ensure they hit, or even always hit critical.

I use them all the time when I get stuck in a game. But if the game is easy, I just save normally.

SAve states are definitely very helpful in your gaming experience. Theyre convienient when you have to do something really annoying and theres no save spots. Ur like wut the heck i cant beat this thingy and now i have to go back to the save spot which i saved like 30 minutes ago and now i have to do all the crap over again its like cmon man give me a break u peice of crap.

I only use Save States rarely (I save the savefile into my folder usually)I only use it if Im away from the keyboard to do something for a while, and left the game running, I will certainly save states. What if my sister's dog jump on the keyboard and closes down my 12 hours of Pokemoning?Useful thing.

save slates are great, cos it doesnt take long to do, saves time if you mess something up. so i save as a reflex every few minutes.

god save stats and speed button is the best thing VBA came up with. i do save stats generally to get drops all the time (SNSS2 wyvern claw diffusion device blah blah) it makes games a whole lot more bearable for the impatient people

I use them when I'm leveling up in places without a save point in RPGs. It's easier than traveling all the way back to the world map or a save point.

Oh, I use them fanatically; often using multiple slots to accomodate different pathways, and depending exactly how far I need to go back. But I must insist I don't need them. Honest.

I use save states to finish games quickly (especially action games). No more starting back at the beginning of the level for me!

I use save states when you have to pick one to paths in a game so that I can pick one path now and go back and play the other one later. For example in FE sacred stones the part where u pick if u want Erika or Ephraims path, I just save stated and played both.

The first time I used it was in Riviera The Promised Land, because the game is next to immpossible to beat without saving states before you open a treasure chest or walk into another room or enter into a battle. I managed to beat Fire Emblem withot any states just to challenge myself and in Smmon Night 1 where there aren't many save swords.
